Amore Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Islip

This was a very long time ago but i have to share. First the food and service was always great when i worked out in bayshore!!! So here it is. I was leaving work one day years ago and stopped here for dinner. I ordered my food and paid. Put my change in my pocket and went home. Ate dinner with the family when i got home. Mind you now about 1-2 hours has gone by since i got the food. I now realize i received change for a $20 bill when i paid with a $100 bill. I call back and a very nice man answered the phone and acknowledged the situation. Told me he would have to do something with the register and would call me back. He called me back with about 10 minutes and apologized and said whenever i am back in the area i can get the rest of my money. Even though it was their accident i think this was exceptional customer service. ...

Ordered a few months back off of slice (3rd party) must've been a bad day food was terrible. Chicken was under, none of the pasta was strained and was basically soup, lasagna tasted like it was turning (food is usually good) so I reached out to customer service and they provided me a refund after going through their process. Fast forward to last night I tried to order through the phone and they blacklisted my address (which is a multi family home mind you) and when I asked why I was met with hostility "you owe us money who said the food was bad? I say the foods good" was the response I got. 0 customer service skills and just a terrible look for the restaurant and while it's upsetting because I like their pizza, being retaliated against for an order gone wrong is insane to...

Ordered an XL Garbage pie and delivered is something totally different from past orders. The meat Garbage pie was more vegetables than meat. $29.95 for thin crust, burnt onions and under cooked green peppers and barely any meat and not able to be cut with a sharp knife. Not to mention the unprofessional way the phone was answered, yelling could be heard. Amore's quality is going down hill. When the delivery person called the store they were argumentative, stating it was what I ordered. I won't be ordering again. Wish I could post a picture of the pie today verses the same pie ordered 12/22, totally different. Wish I could give zero stars! The owner is just as rude cursing us out over the phone because of this review. I guess he can't handle the truth about...
