QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Town of Islip

My previous review is below, but I wanted to make an update. I got a call from the owner, Roberto, who was extremely understanding of my point and was very nice in making amends for my experience the other day. He exhibit exemplary customer service. Given the way Roberto made a come back, I would definitely eat here again. Like I said previously, the food was good; I had no complaints about that.

The food itself was good but I called to ask a question and the team member who answered the phone said hello, let me ask my question, then did not reply. It sounded like they put me on hold (no, I didn't hear 'hold' music, only silence). After about 30 seconds of silence and asking if they were still there, I just hung up.

I ordered a side of guac with my food. Not chips and guac, just guac. I got a small (4oz). It sounds small but I didn't realize exactly how little 4oz was. A more accurate visual on the website menu would be helpful so customers could determine what size they really need. But also, why was the tiny shot-glass-sized scoop of guac $3? I'm kind of overall over restaurants holding us hostage over guac. If I can buy a single avocado in a store for $1, why does 1 scoop of guac cost $3? There's no way to make...

We eat at this restaurant on a regular basis; it is our favorite! But today, instead of going out to dine, I found myself rushing in to ask for assistance. My aunt and I were driving home when her car became stuck in the middle of the road and we were unable to move it. Fortunately, we broke down in front of Qdoba, so I dashed inside. First, the woman at the front came out and tried her hardest to help us, but it didn't work. I'm sorry; I wish I'd remembered her name! But she went in and came out with HENRY & ROBERTO. They both sprung into action and went out to get the tools they needed; thank heavens they had them on hand! They got us up and running in a matter of seconds! Thank you...

I ordered my meal in the app while traveling from an appointment. My order was ready and waiting when I arrived.

Since I was on my way to another appointment, I sat in the dining room and ate there.

While at first look, the menu might seem pricey, the amount of food you get for the price is outstanding. I ordered a cheese-crusted quesadilla and it was large and filling. I ended up taking the huge burrito I ordered home for dinner.

Surprise! This location has a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine.
