Burrito Blvd Oakdale — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Ok so they always ask you to give a rating, my first time ordering . I placed a phone order, spoke to a nice gentleman who took my order in detail.. I mean he asked do you want this and that. I ordered pork nachos, I ordered veggie tacos and Chicken quesadilla. He told me that my nachos would have cheese, meat and my add on. I never tasted one bit of cheese and I had no meat. None. Very disappointed. The other food was good and right. The trouble with places, you charge us large amounts of money for a dish and I’m willing to pay for it but when I don’t get what I ordered, it leaves a bad taste. I really wish restaurants would care more and understand that. Yeah sure everybody makes mistakes. But if I’m paying good money for a product and it doesn’t deliver you need to talk to your staff. So I’ll give this place another try, but I put my ratings up because I’m hoping management reads and makes improvements. This place could be a 5 star rating. You gotta be attentive to the orders, especially if taking the order you give such detail make sure to follow through all the way. I don’t bother bring my food back. As I am always on the road locally, day or night, I searched for a place to eat and google search gave me a few places but decided to give this place a shot.

I’ve had Chipotle, Cabo Fresh, and Taco Joe’s. They are all not bad but THIS place definitely takes the cake!

Ordered a bowl, and built it with every ingredient I like. Personally, I am a steak guy and the steak was very good, had the wife give me some to taste, but the Chicken was amazing. The guacamole was excellent as well.

I wish I could highlight this, PORTIONS are BIG, much larger than the other aforementioned places. Oh and its an actual bowl bot an oblong “bowl” like the other places.

I cannot say anything bad about this place. I can summarize that ingredients were, fresh and had excellent taste. Staff were great and very polite.

The decor is amazingly beautiful and keeps more in theme with Mexican culture. The skull figurines drawn by hand on the wall are beautiful!! Place is very nice and casual.

Highly recommended and my place to go now whenever i am out here in Suffolk county.

Food is good, the staff was kind of rude and very unhelpful.. Everyone is entitled to a bad day so I'm writing it off as that but after spending over $40 to not be happy definitely makes me not want to return. It was my first time there so I wasnt sure how they do stuff but I said I was just going to get chicken and rice bowl. The girl had an attitude. I wasn't sure what they had. It's similar to chipotle where you go through and pick what you want but I wasn't sure what some stuff was and ended up missing out on some stuff because I didn't even realize it was there and she barley put anything in my bowl but packed my friends bowl out. Definitely not worth the money at all. I don't even like chipotle but I'd rather go there and spend $40 there and at least have a more friendly experience then come back to this place. She didn't even offer sauces or anything I didn't even know they had any until after the fact.
