I have about 20 chinese takeout places closer to me but I go out of my way to go to Mr Wang because their food is above and beyond anyone elses when it comes to freshness and taste.
The first thing you will notice is they usually have at least 10 people working behind the counter. Multiple dedicated cooks, multiple people working the phones and registers, people that are cutting fresh vegetables, preparing dough for their dumplings and noodles, etc. The kitchen is completely open and clean, they’ve got nothing to hide.
Sure the people working the register may not smile or act the happiest, but they are always super busy, phone ringing off the hook, a dozen receipts hanging for orders, the place is always jumping. If the food is good, who cares if they smile or not after probably working all day non-stop. You know the food is the best anyway, you’ll be back regardless.

Read moreI usually order for delivery. It takes them 45 to a1 hour to come to me. It's only a 10 minute drive. Now my pass 4 orders. They forget something. The first time they forgot to give me my white rice with my chicken and broccoli. My next 2 orders I ordered a combo dinner. They forgot twice my egg role. Every time I order they forget something. Everytime they refused they forget something. This time they offer me my white rice with 2 free eggrolls if I come and get it. Not give credit to my credit card! I ask twice for this. There answer is no. Next time I order I get free white rice and two eggrolls. It's not free, cause they forgot to give to me. No thank you. Now going back here. There are others better at customer...
Read moreGenerally the food is excellent, that's why we get our Chinese take-out there! However, I am very disappointed, and actually angry about the meal I got for my NYE dinner. I ordered the Happy Family dinner which advertises lobster as part of the seafood in the dish. There was no lobster, not a speck of lobster! What There was, was IMITATION "CRAB MEAT" pieces! That's just not right. I wasn't expecting a claw, a tail, but lobsters have a lot of meat on them and can easily be shredded or chopped up and put in this meal. Do they really think actual seafood lovers don't know the difference? May be looking for a new take-out place after...
