13 Sip and Slice — Restaurant in Town of Junius

We stopped at the mall to charge our vehicle and grab some lunch. We thought we would have to settle for fast food, but instead we were pleasantly surprised. At first, we thought this place just had pizza, but then I spotted some Indian dishes on the menu. The owner was there, and he was very nice and tried explaining the menu to us. We planned to split some food from this restaurant and one other at the food court, so we decided to get a meal combo of lightly spicy chicken over rice, a salad, and drink. I also ordered garlic naan and a mango Lassi. The chicken was delicious, moist, and very flavorful, plus the rice was still nice. The Naan was perfect and not too full of garlic or overly buttery. This place is a hidden gem. We weren't expecting to see beyond fast food items, they had a pretty elaborated menu and a good spread of items. You are served complementary salad with every curry with generous portion size. Amazing food, we ordered cheese pizza for the kids & Malai kofta curry + butter naan for ourselves. Relished every bite of it, salad was crunchy & freshly cut while rice was hot & fluffy. Curry was delicious & creamy, not the one that is pre made and warmed on the go. Naan was flavourful & complimentary rice was a delight. Service is great, staff is very polite and will accommodate reasonable requests. We ordered the Goat Curry with Rice, Garlic Naan, Cheese Toasty with Onions, Lettuce and Tomatoes (I didn’t have the green pepper due to allergies and they obliged).

The food was freshly made and delicious. The Garlic Naan was the best I’ve ever had. Bursting with flavour and actual garlic was visible. I could have eaten 2 more!

The staff are wonderful and you can tell they love what they do and it shows.

The only issue was my Oreo Milkshake was like water. When I mentioned it they asked if I’d like another one. I declined so they gave me a full refund! Thank you so much for a lovely meal.
