Kingston's Cuisine — Restaurant in Town of Lansing

Wow… just, wow.

I’ll be blunt, I didn’t have very high expectations. I mean, quality Jamaican food in upstate NY? Ehhh…

Let me tell you: that was one of the most flavorful meals I’ve had in a loooooong time. I got the rasta pasta and I am truly blown away. I wanted some indulgent comfort take-out while being sick at home, and this absolutely fit the bill. And also, the portion size was fantastic.

The person who took my order and brought out the food was very friendly, going out of his way to give me an ETA about how long it’ll take. I was in no rush—but, I appreciated his hospitality and communication just the same.

I originally came here for the curry chicken and plantains… both were out of stock tonight. I am now very eager to try them on some future occasion. I suppose that they’re out of stock because this place has been doing a lot business. Good for them…....

Kingston Cuisine appears to have been across the street previously and is now near Aldi. I am one of the first to review this location.

The food is awesome! We got the large jerk chicken $25 which includes 3 sides. The rice & beans, the steamed veggies and even the fries, all the flavors were amazing AND went great together! Loved it!

The price and portions seem on par with nearby sit down restaurants. This would need new carpet, paint and some plants or something before I'd be able to give it a good atmosphere rating.

Their website and posted menu is incorrect. Certain items are not available unless it's a special (i.e., spring rolls, curry chicken and tacos).

There is no where in Ithaca for me to get Jamaican food so when I heard about Kingston’s cuisine on Instagram I was very happy to try it. They have the best food and the best customer service. The girl in the kitchen at K-house (Roshawna) is so pleasant. The Rasta pasta is the best thing on the menu. The pasta was so colorful with a variety of bell peppers, extra creamy sauce with Jamaican seasonings. My mouth is just watering thinking about it. The dish is just so full of flavor. I give Kingston’s cuisine a 10/10 for everything from customer service to taste and everything in between. Definitely...
