This McDonald's is one of the few staffed with people who actually want to do their job properly! I've been here many times and I've never failed to receive service with a smile.
The person taking orders at the drive-thru has always seemed bright and attentive and they have always been unfailingly polite. Their drive-thru line moves rather quickly and, of the several dozen times I've been there, there's only been one or two mistakes which I caught before I left (always check your order!).
This part is gonna come as a shock but, they actually offer service with a smile! They do not act as if they would rather be anywhere in the world but there. They've always spoken directly to me instead of just sticking their hand through the window to take my payment or give me my food, and I don't believe I've ever failed to receive a "Thank you, have a nice day!" from them. It's not like I expect to be worshipped and catered to, but this place does not leave you feeling like your order was an intrusion on the employee's days like so many places do today. The employees here act like they understand their customers are the reason their job exists and, without coming even close to subservience, they do their job in a polite and efficient manner.
The inside has always been very clean. Even when they're incredibly busy they've always had someone cleaning as the mess was made (BTW, why do people think it's ok to be so messy in public?). The bathrooms have always been clean and well stocked and not smelling like urine (it just smells clean).
Overall, this McDonald's is what all fast food restaurants should arrive to be. They're not obsequious about their service, but they are very respectful and efficient. Everyone above 40 remembers a time when this kind of service was the norm instead of the exception to the norm and I wholeheartedly wish this quality of service would become the norm again.

Read moreThere was a long car line outside from the drive through, so we decided to go inside. There was nobody in front of us, only customers waiting to receive their orders to go and to dine in, so I thought "awesome I'm next!" I was wrong. 8 more sustomers came in after myself. Nobody came to the register to take meal orders so I put in my order through the self ordering big screen. Then about 18 minutes later we got our order, (or so we thought) My youngest daughter pointed out she was missing her nuggets. My son after, he ate his burger, he too notice he didn't have his nuggets. Now my oldest also tells me she's missing her other burger. To the counter I go, only to wait for about 7 minutes until I finally became acknowledged far away from the kitchen and wait another 6 more minutes. I explain my order was incomplete, she then tells me, "okay" turns around and leaves me waiting for 4 minutes. Comes back with the nuggets and says "they're still making the burger, she'll bring it to the table" 12 minutes go by and I see the girl leaving the stablishment. I walked to the counter, waited 5 minutes until someone looked my way and without acknowledging me turns around and keeps bagging fries. I left, my sandwich got cold, my fries got cold and my drink watered down. I spent more time at the counter waiting for the forgotten parts if my order and waiting to receive service than I did at the table...
Read moreWent there at 1 for drive thru, they served the only person in front of us at 1:10am and we left at 1:19am. The employees were goofing around and taking their damn time! I called the manager at the drive thru (finally the girl served us our food) and I told him the situation, he; Josh, did not apologize, his response was "so what do you want me to do?" 😵 Really? Ugh! Anyway, I was responding when he interrupted and said "there's only 2 workers up there working drive thru, there's nothing I can do about this (beep)". That was it, he hung up and ignored my calls. I called again and some girl answered and claimed to be the manager until I asked for her name she gave it to the "manager" and he finally denied the previous call saying "I dropped the phone" I told him he will be hearing from me later in the morning. When I got home (1 mi. from McDonald) my fries were stale and my burger buns were hard on the sides and my sweet tea taste like its been sitting at the end of the container. This is ridiculous!!! A few months ago they gave me a sweet tea with a plastic in it, how did I not know I shouldn't trust...
