Fries came out like it’s been sitting there for a while for both temp and taste. Asked to reheat it. Got stared like a weirdo for it. Im still waiting. It’s been 10 mins. So, I asked if fries were done so i could just bring it with me at this point. The workers started to do this typical blame shifting amongst themselves while I’m standing there waiting. It was safe for me to assume that i wasn’t getting my fries in reasonable time, so i told them, “Don’t worry about it”. The gentleman, who seems to be the manager, called me to come back in a manner that I did something wrong lmao. He said “10 mins isn’t long”. I replied, “not for you, but it is for me”. He seems visibly triggered, and he added “i was about to accommodate you but it is your attitude”. I knew where this was going. I hurt man’s ego. But I couldn’t care less about random man’s hurt ego just like the fries they served me. The man tried to hand me the fries, but I declined. God knows what they did to the fries at this point. I said I’m good. He takes it back. Basically, i didn’t get my fries but got a free discipline class about my attitude from a random dude who claims 10 mins isn’t long to fix their cold fries as a manager of a burger chain. There were two other customers and 5-6 workers at the time. I did not enjoy the encounter, nor another man’s tantrum. Spent 18 dollars for a burger and a coke that tasted like a burger and a coke. The lines in the McDonald started to make much more sense as...
Read moreI'm giving Wayback 3, but it's a stretch. I don't like to give poor reviews, but I think it's important that the restaurant'sissues are addressed ASAP.
Visited at 6 pm on a Thursday. There were at least 5 employees seen working out front. There were a few tables when we arrived (probably 10 people total) and a few individuals in the lineup. We ordered and sat down to wait.
We recieved a milkshake after waiting about 25 minutes. It was too thick to drink from the straw provided. Not a huge issue but also - that can be fixed.
We got our burgers after a 48-minute wait, so the shake was long gone. I was there with my partner and we were chatting the whole time, so we weren't upset and we could see that the restaurant was busy - the lineup always had 3-4 people waiting.
The staff didn't realize when they called out our order name that we had ordered three burgers, so we had to ask whether the third one sitting on the counter was our missing one. The fries were cold and tasted like they hadn't been seasoned at all. The buns on all three burgers were ice cold and wet on top like they hadn't been defrosted properly. It briefly crossed my mind that if the buns were not done right, how could I trust the meat? The pickles were also very bland.
It wasn't the worst experience ever, but we definitely expected more from a place that is supposed to have great burgers and shakes. The service is inefficient and the food is...
Read morePainfully slow service. I ordered 4 items. Milkshake took about 5 minutes but the rest of my order took over 30 minutes. I'll mention this was at 1230 but I was one of maybe 5 customers total. 3 of the other customers all ordered their food after me, but got their food before me. No apologies were made or anything offered to be fixed. When I asked for my milkshake to be remade I was given a nasty look from other staff members. There was some random woman behind the counter not in uniform asking me what the problem with my food was. No idea who she was or if she actually works there. The worst of it all was that this was a to go order because my entire family has the flu at the time of this experience. When I got home my sandwich was made horribly wrong. It had none of the toppings I ordered and just came the default way. I have pictures of how badly they burned my sandwich as well. This location is definitely going to get a call or email about them to their corporate office as this is not the first time some truly unacceptable service has come from this place. Until my family and I leave the area Wayback Burgers will not be getting any more of our hard...
