Stevie V's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Lockport

I placed an order two weeks ago for pickup around the corner and it was another disappointing experience. My wife ordered a meatball sub, Onion Rings, and I ordered my usual, a Hitman's delight, with hoagie sauce and fried hot peppers and onions. For those of you who don't know.. If you order one from Avenue Pizza, LaNova's or anywhere else in Buffalo, you get a sub roll with hot ham, capicola, salami and Italian sausage patties with fried veggies and cheese and hoagie sauce.

My wife's order was done properly, but my sandwich came dry, without sauce, and no ham or salami and barely any veggies or cheese and cut in 1/3 and 2/3's that looked like it was cut with the flat of the knife.

I ate part of the sub and the soggy, greasy onion rings and threw the rest in the trash. I've worked PT in restaurants, and just mentioned two of them, and I know how serious the competition and margins are, and food quality is top of the list, because if someone's paying reasonable prices for a reasonably superior product, you expect the order to be correct. Honestly, we could have gotten better subs at Subway for a lot less. This is the third time in 3 years we've gotten bad orders that were bad due to carelessness. My standards are high, but fair.

My old boss, Danny at Just Pizza used to say, "The Restaurant Biz in Buffalo is cutthroat and if you're not giving the customer the satisfaction they paid for, you'll be out of business within a year."

It's been a love hate relationship for my family with Stevie V's and I think it reached the tipping point. We haven't ordered for months after a horrible experience with cold food only to wait over an hour for cold food again as a replacement. Yesterday after months, we finally decided to order again and was disappointed yet again, the steak pizza that we used to love was over cooked and just horribly put together. It tasted nothing like it did before. Sadly this the main problem with this place.... When they take the time to make quality food, then it's among the best in the whole area. However, it seems that the management knows great recipes but has hired employees who could simply care less. You never know what your going to get when you order from here... Quality or the complete opposite but for the same price. Frankly I'm sick of gambling and losing at this place will go else where. When you get bad food, which is more often then not now, it is really bad..... Just a mess both in taste and looks if the food is cooked..... It's really too bad because they can...

On 6-5-23, we ordered a white pizza, a cheese pizza, a Julian salad, onion rings ( extra crispy ) and fried mushrooms ( extra crispy ) for a total of $72.20. The order was placed at 415p.m, and they said it would be a hour and fifteen minutes. At 540pm the order arrived, gave the driver $80 and said keep the change. The salad was awesome, the cheese pizza was OK, the white pizza had all the onions in the middle, hardly any favor. The extra crispy mushrooms and onion rings, were soggy and mushy. When I called to let them know, just on the onion rings and mushrooms, they said they would send another out in a hour. I said we were eating dinner now, and I said I can bring them back after we were done eating. After talking to 2 different ladies, and a guy yelling in the background about the order, they said they can write my name in a book to order the same 2 items on my next order instead of a refund. I wish I could take a picture to show what they look like. What ever happened to customer service? To expensive to not enjoy the food or how...
