OMG!!! I cannot begin to express the sheer happiness I felt while eating at Thai Cookery NY. My partner and I live in New Rochelle NY, where we would frequent our favorite Thai place. 2 years ago they sold it and the food at the new place is awful. For two years we searched and ate at every Thai place in Westchester County. None could match the flavors we had become accustomed to. So yesterday I do what I always did and do a Google search for Thai food with the highest rating. Up pops Thai Cookery!! We headed right over! There is plenty of parking on the street of this very cute town. First thing I noticed was that the place was super cute!! We started with fried tofu and chicken pot stickers. My gf and I immediately looked at each other with huge smiles on our faces!! The flavors were even better than our old place!! The Thai iced tea was on point!! For our entrees we ordered the garlic chicken over rice and Pad Drunken, which they happily replaced the noodles for rice and mixed chicken and shrimp in it, which is the way my gf would always eat it. The presentation was mind blowing!!! We were not expecting that and I can’t even describe the complexity of flavors we were experiencing!! It was mind blowing. I was so happy I told the waitress I wanted to hug her over how happy I was. She went and got one of the owners Tania, who happily gave us both hugs and told us the restaurant has only been open for 6 months. We explained why we were so over the moon over the food. She was so kind and went on to explain how everything is made fresh! Then she tells us they have a second restaurant in NJ, when I ask her where, she tells me Hawthorne. I work 10 minutes from there!!! SCORE!!!! To make it even better, this morning, a coworker who just started working at my company heard me telling someone about this great Thai place and he sends me an email about an amazing Thai place by him in Hawthorne!! I bet you can guess what place that is right!! That’s how great the food is!!! I am over the moon and plan on many many trips to Thai Cookery NY and NJ!! My heart is full!! My Thai loving heart...
Read moreI really like crispy pork with basil sauce, the taste is very delicious . And which may be the only menu and the last menu I choose to eat. But this is not the first time to order food from this restaurant. I order food very often. But I was disappointed twice in a row. I ordered Basil Beef, chicken wings, Papaya salad. It is a very depressing payment. Because the taste of the food is not like many people review. It‘s not delicious. Basil Beef is very sticky meat and also received tendoned meat, which is a low quality meat. Fried chicken shocked me that he took the chicks to make very small pieces. As for papaya salad, I ordered a spicy that was both bland, tasteless, and got it was like food scraps. This is the experience I received today. Which I previously ordered Pad See EW and was disappointed because the noodles is not cook very hard as if it was not cook heated at all. Finally, the only I give through is...

I haven’t been to Thailand in years but have grown fond of the natural ingredients in their cuisine and I have not found a Thai sport that left me so satisfied until now
I ordered the Green Curry with Chicken but I made a beautiful mistake that has changed the way that I will order in the future Instead of Rice, I suggest getting the noodles as a substitution- but that’s just me. :-).
When it came out - when it was set on the table when the aroma grappled my heart and my senses - the smell the look the taste. It was if it took me back to Thailand
