Cozy corner coffee shop and bakery with easy street parking and a quirky, upbeat decor. This location is right in the heart of Ballston Spa and has quite a lot of comfortable seating, for just one person to relax and read a novel or for a group of friends to have a book club. There are local artists featured for sale on the walls, and more than just coffee for sale. The staff is friendly and clearly invested in serving up a great product. Come visit and enjoy the ambiance!

This place has a warm atmosphere, the servers are friendly and very helpful. They have live music during evenings and weekends, music very welcoming. Breakfast sandwiches are good and the soups as well specially the chicken dumplings soup. The only thing I noticed days ago is that they have increased the prices (some items), but they haven't updated the new prices on the menu board (so be aware), but overall this is one of my favorite place in town.

Walked in and they were playing weezer, the jawn is purple as all get out, and their specials were bussin on god for real for real. I got an Egg Bacon jam Cheddar and hot honey on Kaiser and on my mamma it was lit. I would do unholy things for this place to be my regular coffee stop in NJ, worth making part of your trip to the area.

TLDR: order not made correctly, bad attitude by one of the employees, and not solution driven.

My husband went there to get us some breakfast - we were visiting from out of town and it was the first time we ate in this town since our arrival. He ordered eggs with salt, pepper, and ketchup on a toasted bagel for me and brought it to the air bnb we rented for the weekend. When I opened up my order, it was eggs with cream cheese on a toasted bagel (is is just me or is this an unusual combo?). My husband called in hopes of getting it replaced, but the person who answered the phone was rude right away and I heard my husband’s voice slowly rise throughout the interaction. The person on the other end was giving attitude and not understanding the issue. My husband had to repeat the issue several times and it came off as if the person on the other end was taking a sarcastic tone (though I am not 100% sure since I didn’t hear exactly what said or how it was said). The person offered no solution, but after what felt like 5 minutes (it was probably just 2) they got what I think was a manager on the line. My husband told them that it was unusual and unprofessional to have the first response be straight attitude coming from the guy he was just speaking with, then he informed the manager of the mistake with my order (and they also forgot to add in the croissant that he also ordered). The person on the line asked what we wanted them to do (not really offering a solution but not the biggest issue considering how the interaction started with the other employee, and at least they asked what we wanted). We asked if they can deliver a new bagel with eggs salt, pepper, and ketchup. They said no because they don’t have a delivery person. So, my husband asked for a refund. They quickly accepted this option and ended up refunding the entire order. It was not necessary for them to refund the entire order since we were asking just about the sandwich, but at least the issue was seemingly solved.

Unfortunately, this place not only put together a breakfast that was unusual and quite frankly turned me off from this location altogether, but they also set the tone for how our vacation would be. Hopefully, it’s only uphill from here but I’m not sure due to how high the ratings are for this place.

PS - the hot chocolate tasted like it was made...

We found this place looking for new coffee shops to review on our blog. The place is in the perfect location in downtown Ballston Spa with lots of great options for parking. The store is clean and well kept with some incredible coffee memorabilia to ponder while waiting for your order. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and the lattes were superb! We loved the richness and the low acidity of the espresso so much we took home a 5 lb bag! The menu is pretty diverse from breakfast sandwiches to lunch sandwiches and several different types of bread to choose from. The planetary theme of their sandwiches was pretty cool as well and I must say they were made perfectly. The meat was plentiful and the vegetables and bread were very fresh! We loved every bite! We had to try the pastries which did not dissapoint! This place is a definite must stop if you are in the area and looking for a relaxing lunch and good cup of coffee. Incidentally, the really nice woman who was ringing us up gave us a cup of cold brew coffee to try free of charge. It was so smooth and the perfect addition to am...

Although we didn’t get food, my bf is lactose and tolerant, he was saying how he wished there was vegan cream cheese, he would have totally gotten a bagel, I know they have other options like hummus, which is fine but I recommend having at least a small tub of vegan cream cheese and vegan butter for that random customer like him who can’t help that their body can’t have dairy but so badly wanted to enjoy a bagel with it. We ended up getting a mexi coffee and a latte which was super solid, oh, also, another thing I recommend —have a [few] separate menu(s) that breaks down exactly all those other coffee types you have. I felt bad because I was literally asking the guy, What does this mean? What does this mean? What does this mean? it would save a lot of time between both of us because once he explained what each coffee drink I was pointing at on the board on the far left, we were both like ohhh, ohh ok! Yes, that one! Food...
