A great ski show, and it's FREE. We visited Minocqua in July of 2020 and made sure to watch this show during our stay, even though we have a similar show back home on the Mississippi River. The performers were great, as was the announcer who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They do a variety of tricks, including bare-footing, pyramids, and jumps off of the incline. There are two sections of bleachers to watch the show with a shack in the middle where the skiers have all of their gear. I probably wouldn't want to see the show again for quite some time, but it was definitely great to see it once.

Well.., when in season, it's one of the best water-ski shows in the state. It seems like the ski club gets younger & younger every year but that could be because I'm getting older but no matter the case the show is always good when it's on and they do a bang up job entertaining the crowd. Hope to see you as one of the traditions to do in the Northwoods of Minocqua.

Not from Wisconsin, had no idea amateur water ski shows were a thing until I saw this. I was blown away by the beauty of the lake, the can-do spirit of the participants, and the size of the crowd. Whether you're a first-timer like me or a third generation member of the family, it's still an unskippable experience.

The Boathouse (formerly know as Bosacki's) in Minocqua is one of my all time favorite landmarks of the Wisconsin Northwoods. As you enter Minocqua, just across the bridge, you'll find "The Boathouse" greeting you and all the rest of the visitors who are adventuring to the North. Just as inviting as the historic landmark are the staff that Gary, Sue, and Bill have waiting to tend your thirst and your hunger. Gary is was good seeing you - Bill sorry we missed you, maybe next visit. On this visit, I had the traditional Shore lunch - Deep Fried Cod with fries - served with a tasty blend of tartar sauce. She requested the Walleye fingers but unfortunately the kitchen was temporarily out of stock - she opted for Deep Fried Wisconsin cheese curds and a small order of chicken wings. The curds were delicious and the wings were tasty and juicy. Katelyn was our server, she was pleasant and courteous and hustled to make our visit comfortable. Gary joined us at the table to say HI and discuss the coming and going of Minocqua - always makes us feel right at home. If you are visiting Minocqua, The Boathouse is a must stop - maybe just for a cocktail to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Minocqua Lake or the vintage back bar, most likely you'll be tempted by the warm hospitality to stay longer and try a tasty dish. Visit, Relax, Enjoy the atmosphere and history served up at The Boathouse -...
