For the past several years, I have visited Gaslight Antiques and have bought multiple items. However, I did always notice the employees were never too friendly with myself or my wife. This never bothered me until my last visit when I was looking to buy a painting there but no price was provided. Therefore, I went to ask an employee about the price and, even though there were three employees at the counter, I was continuously ignored. Although a couple and I were waiting in line, another gentleman who was buying an expensive item was pushed to the front of the line and first helped and talked to by all three employees. All of us in line before this man were forced to wait for 10 minutes as the employees talked to him. It was purely rude to skip over the other customers like we were nothing because our purchases appeared to be less money than what the man was buying. Read moreVery rude employee! If I were a vendor / dealer here, I’d be mad that the employee doesn’t treat customers better! I get it, the employee cannot answer specific answers to a unique product, but when asked about a discount you get a FIRM NO! & this gentleman said “you are not forced to buy anything, we have over 75 dealers and 100,000 items in the store”. Then finished with “do you want it or not?” Come on, if you own this space or you’re a dealer, get some people skills! Myself and our families have been here a lot in the last 20 years, but this last time was the last straw. He’s not the only rude counter person, but he’s the rudest one I’ve ever had to deal with! My husband wanted to walk away with all of our purchases on the counter … & we spent over $200 in one...

So, we left our almost purchases behind and will never set foot in the...
