Stopped in for breakfast on a early summer Saturday. Place was not too crowded, but we waited by the "wait to be seated" sign for around 15 minutes before our table was nearly given away to someone else before we were finally seated. First thing to greet us was a sign stating that paying with a card will garner you a 3.5% upcharge, so that's never a good sign. I ordered one of the daily specials, the corned beef hash. It was $10.00 and consisted of three small pucks of fried canned corned beef hash, two eggs, and one piece of toast. The food tasted fine, but i would not call it a value. I also had a "sunrise" which is a drink made of champagne and cranberry juice. This was fine, although not terribly high quality, however, i was shocked to see on the bill that it was $9.00. My wife ordered the "Greek Omelet" which tasted fine, and was certainly a larger portion than my meal, but it was of course $14.00. She also had a "Cafe Mocha" for her drink, which was the standout of the meal at $5.50, for a large mug of a tasty coffe based beverage. Overall, the service was fine, if not altogether welcoming or friendly. The food tasted ok, but was nothing special. The serving size was barely adequate. And the prices were much higher than reasonable for the product/service. Honestly, will likely never eat here again, and i do not recommend it, unless you really want a gyro in Minocqua

Facility is very quaint and attractive with many tables, gives off a trendy feeling. First-time customers, first time in the area. Seams a little pricy but probably comparable for the area. No guest WiFi. Figured Greek ownership of the cafe since there was a Greek flag displayed. Toast does not come buttered. Bagle and Lox on the menu. Only saw one entree under $10.⁰⁰. Decided not to have the Cinnamon roll.  It looks good, but we thought it may be too much bread.  Had a bread pudding instead. It was excellent.  Not necessarily a connoisseur, but we would rate the pudding in our top five.  Bathrooms are very decorative. They could be considered HC accessible. Staff friendly, thought the service overall was very adequate. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Breakfast all day. Hours 7 till 2. Menu photos as of Aug 2024.

Cute little local cafe with breakfast and lunch options and espresso drinks. We had the "Build Your Own Omelette" with Ham, cheese, Spinach and mushrooms. The veggies were very fresh and the omelette was HUGE! Emphasis on the largeness of this dish. Holy moley! Not only is it GIANT they also offer it with many different toast/bread options or pancakes. Since I don't eat carbs ( = Death) I got a dinner salad instead which they did charge me for. But it was beautiful, like a piece of art. But, the omelette was so MASSIVE that I didn't have room for the salad. They were nice enough to offer a to go box and I had it for lunch. Definitely would recommend this place. It has a home-style feel with fresh flowers on the tables. A very nice touch.

Update since first visit: Coffee still the Most Excellent! Eggs Benedict with Mango Pineapple Salsa just Fabulous! This place NEVER DISAPPOINTS!!

First Visit: Oh my goodness. This plane was Fabulous!! First, I'll start with the coffee. My husband ordered black; I got a Hazelnut Latte. We both commented out was the best coffee we have had!! So that started our meal. My husband got the Eggs Benedict and Hashbrowns. He, over and over, commented on it being the BEST he had EVER had of both! He is 63 and we could be considered "foodies". I had the Smoked Lox Plate and a half order of the Golden French Toast with fresh mixed berries. The portion of the Lox Bagel with all the toppings was incredible! The plethora of flavors!!! The batter fot the french toast was heavenly, with the fresh berries and syrups! As full as we were when we left, we had to get 2 of their homemade pumpkin muffins with cream cheese frosting dollop.... they looked too irresistible!! This was unanimously a "return every time" we are in the area!!...

Service was ok. Both myself and one other wanted over easy eggs and got over hard. The other person with us got burned hashbrowns. I ordered eggs that comes with pancakes or toast. I said I want it with pancakes and a side of toast. They tried to pull a fast one and had the eggs with toast and charge for a side of pancakes because the pancakes cost more. The food was very bland. Also I ordered pecan pancakes and received plain. In the menu it says the use real maple syrup. All I use at home is real maple syrup. What they serve is NOT real maple syrup. Tastes just like flavored corn syrup and just as thick. I will never be going to that restaurant ever again. Also I walked up to the counter to pay and the cashier was talking to a waitress at the register and started to walk away until I called out to her and said that we were standing here with the bill and credit card in our hands in clear view so we can pay. She walks back over and finally...
