Wally's Ice Cream Parlor II — Restaurant in Town of Monroe

Update 6/18/2022: Went here again yesterday for some ice cream after eating at the local restauarant the Captains Table with my family. There was also a line, but it moved quickly, and all the windows were open. I ordered the cotton candy ice cream in a cup, my mom ordered vanila soft serve in a cone, and my dad ordered hard chocolate ice cream with fudge and whipped cream and a cherry. Cost was about $20.00, which isn't bad. We all enjoyed our ice cream, and we will be back again! Update 6/11/2022: Went here again today for some ice cream. There was a line, but it moved kind of fast, which is good. We were helped right away too! Decided to try the Cookie Monster Sundae, which is your choice of ice cream with fudge, cookie dough, a cherry on top, whipped cream, and oreos. I had it with Cookie dough ice cream too, so that made it more doughy. enjoyed it! my dad ordered a sundae, but they gave him soft ice cream, instead of hard! its okay tho, things happen and sometimes if it is busy we can forget to ask. it happens! My mom also ordered the root beer float, which she liked. we took it home to go as she was home. all the ice cream was good, and hopefully will be back soon! Wally's has plenty of ice cream from soft serve to hard Perry's ice cream, to sundaes and ice pops. This visit, i ordered the coffee ice cream in a cup, and my dad ordered the queen of hearts in a cup. Both were good. The line was not long when we went, but we did beat the crowd that came in a few minutes after us. Went here last week and got a kiddie with marshmallow sauce in a cup with no problem. They even put the cone on top for me. Today, I wanted the same kiddie with marshmallow sauce and they told me it's not possible to put marshmallow sauce in a kids cup. I said they did it last week and she said it's not possible, so I asked if it's possible to just put the kiddie in a slightly larger cup. They gave me a kiddie portion in the larger cup, but still charged me for a small. They did not give me a small portion, which is significantly larger than a kiddie. I am extremely disappointed at what was clearly an attempt to upsell ICE CREAM of all things. I've been coming here for years, but I think this might be...

The people here are so nice and the scope is very generous. They actually care about people being happy getting ice cream.

Service is wonderful and especially the girl serving me with a big smile. Please support their college fund tipping jar.

Ice cream is good. Not a fan of some of their flavor as they can be a bit too artificial. Love the peanut butter chip thou. Five star for service still.
