I experienced the worst customer service at McDonald's drive thru on November 27 at 600 Marble Ave, Pleasant, NY 10594. Employees and supervisor are rude, violent, combative, aggressive, dismissive, the list goes on. Having experienced this horrible life changing experience and dealing with these unpleasant employees makes me sick to my stomach. As soon as I placed my order at the McDonald drive-through, I proceeded to the window, where l asked an employee to read my order again. She read the wrong one. Her tone and lack of patience and communication skills gave me pause. As much as I’d like to ignore her condolening tone, my conscience won't allow me to do so, particularly when it comes to handling the food. I repeated my order again and she yelled it back at me. Since the situation was not improving, I proceeded to the second window. A second employee opened the second window and shouted “we are busy, we are busy”, so I said, if you're so busy, could I speak with the manager.? A few moments later, I noticed the supervisor. She appears very angry and upset as she approaches my car. If looks could kill, I wouldn’t be here to share my horrible experience. The supervisor's energy and demeanor escalated the situation. As I tried to explain to her that her employees exhibited a lack of empathy and good customer service skills. Throughout the conversation, she appeared disengaged. It was as if she didn't even look at me, and when she tried to speak to me, she was looking into the sky. she replied that they are overwhelmed by the heavy traffic in the drive-thur. As I explained to the supervisor, I understand it is a busy time, but I should never be placed in a position where the employees are disrespectful and unprofessional. She rolls her eyes and continues with her bad attitude. She asked for my order to be repeated. As soon as I informed her of my corrected order, she gave the food to me. The manner in which she responded to my explanation of my encounters with two of her employees was very dismissive and condescending. I was disappointed with my entire experience and I shared with the supervisor that I will never return to McDonald's and I would tell my friends and family about my experience. The point I made to her was that she lacks leadership skills and she’s unable to de-escalate the situation; rather, she has added fuel to the fire. I requested a full refund of my order and returned the food. I was given cash rather than a credit card refund by the supervisor, when I requested a refund via the same payment method she proceeded with cash refund instead and very aggressively through the pennies and dimes at my vehicle. The cash and coins were then thrown into the vehicle. I was struck by coins while trying to get the receipt. The coins hit my vehicle window so hard. She then closed the drive-through window and yelled that she would call the police. As I was sitting in my vehicle, an employee came outside to record me while I was on the phone with 911. Having witnessed these employees actions, I was deeply disappointed. My call to the police was made while I was seated at the drive-through window. After reporting the incident to the police, I waited for them to arrive. The police officers were informed of the incident and I requested that they review the cameras since I intend to sue the employee for assault. This is the last time I will visit McDonald's at 600 Marble Ave, Pleasant, NY 10594, and I hope that these employees will not be allowed to get away with treating customers in such a horrible manner in the future. I felt as if they didn’t wish to have me present. I didn’t feel welcome and I was never treated as a valued customer. It’s unlikely that I will ever purchase food or enter a McDonald's restaurant. They make me sick to my stomach. These employees should be fired!. I should not be placed in a hostile or dangerous situation that necessitates the call to the police. Hopefully, the entire incident was captured on video at the McDonald drive-through window. This is not...
Read moreThis is absolutely by far the very best McDonald's and on top of that the most efficient fast food restaurant I have ever witnessed in my life. I have been here for the passed 4 hours utilizing the wifi for school work and ever since I have arrived there has been a constant flow of traffic the entire time. Cars consistently flow in and out of the drive through the entire time with no back ups at all. All 3 of the ordering stations are being taken full advantage of. There's no back ups In the store either. No customers have complained about any mistakes at all. The staff are not only as effecient as possible but extremely friendly despite the endless flow of customers. The staff do not show any signs of exhaustion they all work perfectly together. If all of humanity worked as hard and effective as these woman here at this Mc Donald's location we would have already occupied other planets in our solar system at this point in time. This place should not just be a star example of how all McDonald's should be but should be a perfect example of how all of l Human kind should be. I swear I've never seen anything like it....
