Food was good and the chef was excellent but the wait staff was terrible. I went with 3 other friends for one of their birthdays and from the moment we walked in they were rushing us to hurry up and finish because they wanted to close which is fine and understandable except for the fact that we came in 2 hours before closing and there was maybe 6 other people in the entire place besides my party of 4. We had to order dessert before we even ate dinner and while we were in the middle of eating our dinner they brought out all of our desserts meanwhile it was 10:15pm and they close at 11. Then the bill comes and it was just under $200 dollars and we used a groupon for half and paid cash for the rest. The entire time we were at our table not once did we get asked if we wanted refills on our refreshments and they had an attitude the entire time we were there. We pay the bill and the waiter has the nerve to say to us very nasty "No tip on a 200 dollar bill!" The fact was that we were going to leave a tip but we needed change back from the bill to leave a tip but since they decided to be nasty and rush us out the door and give us an attitude for the length of our dinner at that moment I decided not to leave a tip for the terrible wait staff and I always tip very well. I gave the chef a $30 dollar tip because the chef was excellent, it was the wait staff that was the issue and because of them I will never go back there again and I will never recommend this place to anyone ever! I feel bad for the chefs there because they are gonna suffer because the wait staff is terrible. DO NOT EAT HERE, THEY HAVE...

I do not recommend hibachi. Well at least with the chef that cooked our food. No words no tricks no entertainment. No sake pour, no heartbeat, no volcano...nothing. just banging utensils and confirming who's getting what. The shrimp appetizer was the LAST food item to be put on our plates. We were asking for sauces from the beginning. We didn't get them until he had left and then came back saying I'm sorry so sorry I forgot. Here you go. I was told that I couldn't order a certain drink at the hibachi table. They said go to the bar and walked away to the next person asking what they wanted. Tip is automatically added for parties of FOUR and more. we asked not to be seated against the utensils and plates. We requested along the wall. No. They seated us against the utensils. I can't tell you how many people walk back and forth and brushing up on you or touching your shoulder. There was no one else on the side we requested at four tables. They said those are reserved. We also had a reservation. What was the difference? I will not return there. There are better hibachi at buffet's. Sorry fyre.....no good. Bad service. You do not cater to customers. You do what you want and full on argue with us to make sure we understand that there are no substitutes or changes of any kind. How is that possible. If I do not want something on my plate or request to change it, they do not or will not change anything or substitute anything. They told me I'd have to get an entire other dish if I wanted...

My wife and I were joking that I have never really had a bad experience at a hibachi place. I love hibachi. We went here the other night for dinner and it was my first disappointing experience. The chef who cooks for us had no energy, performed. Very few tricks that lasted just a few seconds, and did not seem to care that nobody was really having a good time. I did not get the impression that he was new but he seemed to be either burnt out or in a bad mood. The guests at the table had to actually ask for the sauces that most hibachi places give to everyone. When he did the typical sake spray it lasted about 2 seconds and basically just hit you in the face. Not sure if they are trying to cut costs but this was another disappointment. To top things off, I do not eat vegetables, rice or noodles. When there was extra meat left over I was expecting him to throw me a few but he did not and gave them to others. I ordered my steak medium which should be pink in the middle and it was well done. Very dry. It was a combination of all of these things that resulted in our first disappointing hibachi experience. I don't think we would want to go back and would definitely not recommend the place to others. There are many good hibachi restaurants out...

Where can I start hmm 🤔... Came here for my nephew’s 2nd birthday with family and we all were disappointed. Staff was not welcoming nor too friendly, food was inedible very oily and tasteless. No seasoning what so ever. I was disappointed because our cook put all the meats to cook at once, I’ve never seen that. You don’t mix seafood, poultry and beef at the same time; that can cause health issues. When asked not to mix the meats he was defensive and stated “next time tell the waiter” I shouldn’t have to tell the waiter to tell you to not cook the meats all at once. You learn that in training!!! The cook finally cooked each meat separately. In addition I asked the waiter for chopsticks and salt & pepper he stated “it’s right there you can go get it” 🤨 like who do you think you’re talking to? Lol Lastly we all just threw away our food. My mom was still so nice and gave a large tip which I felt they did not deserve it. Guys don’t expect this place to be upscale or don’t have any high expectations lol 😆

We have been to this sushi lounge a few times before the pandemic and the experience was okay. This was the first time we went after the pandemic and it was quite disappointing. The menu price seemed the same as before, but the portion was obviously smaller. Also note that they started the practice of 18% automatic gratuity. I did not know when did the automatic gratuity begin, but it was definitely not like this before the pandemic. The waitress was careless and she was never around after we ordered our food. The chef did the cooking show, but it was not exciting at all now. Maybe the tricks played were based on the chef individually, but the specific chef we had on that day was taking it super easy. It did not really a show, just simply cooking in front of a group of people. The shrimp and scallops hibachi was good, but my husband’s steak was overcooked even he asked for medium rare. The overall ambience and food quality were good.

I went to this restaurant while I was in New York. I have to say, if you are used to going to Benihana, this restaurant will exceed your expectations and then some. The food was delicious! From the appetizers, the entrées, all the way to the green tea ice cream. In addition, the chefs worked way faster than the ones at Benihana. I suspect it’s because they chopped up most of the veggies ahead of time and then just dropped it onto the hibachi grill. I had the shrimp and scallops. It was a large portion and I even had some for lunch the next day. At first, my sister was disappointed because they said that they were out of green tea ice cream. But then the waitress told my sister to wait… And next thing you know she brought her some. Excellent customer service! I would highly recommend you stop here if you’re in or near Carle Place, New York. I promise you won’t regret it.
