My name is Samantha I worked with Tatiana and Malik and they were the most pleasurable experience to deal with. It’s crazy walking into furniture stores, and you have to deal with people bombarding you and that was not my experience here I walked in. Everybody greeted me very nicely nobody attacked me. I saw Tatiana who I didn’t know who she was right away but I saw, and noticed the way that she was handling a customer And I really thought highly of how she was talking to the customer and being so friendly and just a normal person and I specifically waited for her and I’m so happy that I did. She helped me find the perfect couch. She listened to everything that I said that I wanted. She led me to every couch in the show room that she thought that I would like and we patiently tested every one of them out going back-and-forth from a few of them weighing out our best option. Malik came to help as well because he noticed that we were searching for different couches and that we were laughing so I guess he wanted in on the fun lol anyway, they both were super helpful. We ended up putting the best fitting couch together with an ottoman they even threw in a free floor lamp, everything was a seamless process start to finish, and I had a great few hours interacting with the both of them and furniture shopping. It was a pleasant, beautiful fun experience, and I met kindhearted good people who are sales people, but don’t act like sales people, they act like normal people who just are there working and guiding you to what you’re looking for having you make the sale everybody was professional and efficient. The store was clean and great prices for excellent furniture built to last. I also bought the stain protection because you have unlimited times where you’re allowed to claim and when you buy a white couch you need it and you’re silly if you don’t get it yes it’s a few hundred dollars extra but also hiring Stanley Steemer to come clean one time is way more than what the price of the protection is for unlimited services these days you have to be smart with your money anyway talk to Tiana at the very end wrap my floor lamp starts to finish if you head to the website and you see Tatiana with a white floor lamp, wrapped and tissue paper you’ll see that’s my purchase lol she was such a pleasant girl to work with and I’m so happy that I met her and I will be coming back to them for any future purchases please I highly recommend that you go see Tatiana and you will thank me later thank you guys for giving me a great experience and I just want to say this was not a paid review. Read moreI apologize for the long winded review but there are so many issues with the order that I placed. First off it starts when I went into this location for a counsel. Spoke with a sales rep and he stated that it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive after a different location a week prior to purchase informed me that they can’t order because they cannot give me a delivery date. When the rep at carle place told me we can get it we decided to spend even more money and purchase a dinning room table set. The dining room table set got delivered within a week and that day I realized that on Ashley’s website the furniture I purchased was cheaper. I called the office and when I asked for a price match they said it can not be done. Fast forward to 8 weeks after ordering I called Ashley and they informed me it will be an additional 3 weeks. When the first delivery got set on the morning of delivery I received a phone call saying that the unit was damaged and it would take an additional 6-8 weeks to get the unit. At this point my tv, cable box and router is resting on my floor with 2 younge children in my home because I threw out the old counsel. At that time I spoke with an operations manager at the store and he informed me he can get it to me that Tuesday. I told him that’s great. I asked for some form of compensation (at least the price match) he informed me that he will speak to a sales manager and get back to me within an hour. I called 3 hours later and every hour after that until someone at the store answered I said who I was and then they hung the phone up. Fast forward to 2nd deliver date once again morning off delivery I receive a phone call from someone in corporate informing me that they will get this resolved and they will link up with someone from the location for compensation. The person from corporate gave me a new delivery date. I spoke with someone from the office and he heard me out and he informed me he will get me an answer on what they can do. Now the day before the 3rd delivery at 830pm I get a call from the warehouse saying the unit came damaged again and the new delivery date is a week from then. We will wait and see if that actually happens but the day the 3rd delivery date was I received a phone call at 739am saying that they are 15 minutes away. Unfortunately i am still waiting. Read moreSo after 3 months I am still waiting for Ashley to fix my broken server. To date they have sent me the same wrong door three times, the wrong drawer 2 times. (See my photos) Iam currently waiting on door number four. I've also been told that Ashley would rather send me 20 doors instead of just replacing my server. It's more cost effective this way. Which basically means Ashley does not care about customer satisfaction.
Update: Surprise Surprise, I get a call from David the back office manager at the Carle Place location after my revire was posted, asking me if everything has been resolved. No it hasn't. I told David I was still missing parts that were promised to me over 3 weeks ago. I even gave him my claim number. Even with a claim number Ashley Furniture can't find my parts. I was promised call backs personally by David and yet no status on my parts. So I currently have a server collecting dust in my home because of the incompetence of Ashley Furniture. I guess the bright side is they can't bill me until my order is complete. Hopefully by xmas I should have everything. Stay AWAY from this location or hope everything goes right or else good luck!!
Purchased a 7 piece dinning set 8/7. Only received 5 pieces when delivered and table was damaged along with server. Took me over a week and a half to find out where my 2 missing chairs were. Spoke to my salesman Michael, spoke to David and spoke to office representative and no one was able to give me a straight answer on where my chairs were. I was told to contact customer support who then told me to contact the store. Went back and forth for about a week and half. It wasn't until I sent in a friend pretending to want to buy my exact set and was told he can have it delivered to him the following day did I finally got a straight answer. Why was he able to get the set to him the next day, yet my two chairs could not be found? Also, still waiting for broken pieces to my server to be sent to me. I was told when I initially called about the damages 8/24 it would be 7 - 10 days. Now I'm told sometime during the week of 9/23. Horrible service.
