Dean's Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Town of Orangetown

deans is a fantastic little coffee shop in Pearl River. It’s beautiful and DELICIOUS and is one of my favorite (new) things about my old hometown. It feels perfectly modern for a small town and the vibes are perfection for a coffee shop. The guy barista doesnt love to talk or smile lol, but he makes BEAUTIFUL lattes and they taste like heaven. For a small space its not impossible to find a table (dont know about peak times though). Prices are average for fancy coffees, but they taste amazing. Pastry selection is far above average- lots of great choices and MANY gluten free, which surprises me and makes me happy for people with celiac out there who can never indulge at coffee shops. I love the vast array of options for different coffees and teas too, a lot for such a small space. Lastly, I like the little display of local goods they have for sale; it’s fun and feels like it also supports the local community...

The coffee and treats.. Regular spot for me. I love their iced coffee, whether it’s winter or summer that’s the go-to drink. Their gluten-free lemon blueberry loaf is SUPERB. And so are their fig power energy balls. They have a delicious raspberry iced tea during warmer days, try it!

The service.. The guy behind the counter is very nice and cool. Always great conversations and service.

The place.. It’s a small spot but it’s nice. Bathroom is always clean. Bench outside, thumbs up.

Parking.. Have to pay for it but that has nothing to do with them. Just thought I’d put it out there.

It’s so rustic and enchanting. I love it here. I try to come in here as often as I can, and each time I enter the cozy coffeehouse, I am welcomed with the sweet fragrance of coffee and hot chocolate. The owners/workers are so incredibly polite and friendly! I stayed there for almost two hours working on my laptop with a cup of hot chocolate and a chocolate crossiant. I really hope this coffeehouse stays in business; Pearl River needed a coffeehouse just like the ones in movies! Keep up the great work...
