The Local Tap House of Nyack — Restaurant in Town of Orangetown

I know alot of people throw out a 5 star review but honestly I can't bring myself to take away from this place, went tonight for some drinks at the end of the night and my girlfriend and I had a great time. The community of people there is fantastic everyone seems to know each other, yet they don't make you feel like an outsider, we got to talk to the bartender and other patrons at the bar and had a fantastic time. If you're looking for a chill, welcoming atmosphere you'll most certainly find it here. I'll think about this place at most of my next bar visits and patiently await until I can drink here again. Can't wait...

I came here with a friend to celebrate their birthday. After I paid the tab, I took my card and receipt to the table we were at to calculate a cash tip for bartender. Shortly after finishing the last drink I noticed that my card and receipt were missing. I asked the girl with pigtails and the male who both ignored me and the security guard said "we don't have your card" but when I refused to leave they handed me my card. I wasn't going to post this until Capital One called me asking me if I was adding over a 50% tip at the Local Tap...

Duuuuuuude! Wow. Ok so I went here with a friend of mine for a Saturday excursion. Had an amazing fully loaded hot dog, a flight and a shot, all while talking to the owner whoooo might i add CAME OUT OF THE FLOOR lol when we got there.
