I had heard a lot of hype about NoFoDoCo, and now that there is one much closer to me, I had to find a special occasion to try these donuts, so what better excuse than my girlfriend's birthday? The hype is so real and worth it. The doughnuts are big, but not obnoxiously so, and even with their size, the dough is so light it doesn't feel like you're having a total gut bomb when you're eating them. I decided to try out their classic strawberry frosted, the caramel crumb cake, and two of their weekly specials which were a lemon blueberry and a brown sugar cinnamon pop tart. All of them were so good it's hard to pick a favorite, but as a sucker for crumb cake, I think the caramel crumb takes the cake (pun intended), plus it benefits from being on their regular menu! The place inside is super cute and laden in pink, but it's got so much charm to it. You can park along the street if you're brave, but there is also a huge lot in the back and entrances on both sides for your ease. They warn that they only sell their donuts till they sell out, but take my advice and if you're going early enough during the week, they will have plenty of donuts and you don't need to be there as...
Read moreWelcome to North Fork Doughnut Company, where they've got you covered from glazed to chilled. I recently visited the North Fork Doughnut Company, aka no fo do co, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting aroma of freshly made doughnut greets you. The selection is incredible from raspberry jelly to apple cider – they have unique flavors that cater to both traditional and adventurous tastes.
I tried the pecan apple crumb and jelly both out of this world! The apple cider is good. It’s clear they put a lot of thought and care into their creations. Ice-cream is also on the menu for all my ice-cream cream lovers.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and patient. It was definitely tough with so many great options! The shop itself has a cozy, charming vibe that makes it a perfect stop whether you’re grabbing a treat to go or enjoying it there. The heart mirror creates a very special and unique photo opportunity.
If you’re in the area and love a good doughnut, North Fork Doughnut Company is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors!...
Read moreNorth Fork Co Donuts in Massapequa Park is in the happening area of town with all of the restaurants and bars. The atmosphere is very cute inside and is all light pink. I bought 2 of the doughnuts- the cannoli flavor and a Sweet & Salty flavor with chocolate, Potato Chips, & Pretzels mixed together on top. I thought both were large in size but average-tasting. I prefer Dunk Donuts’ chocolate doughnuts and munchkins. The bread part of the doughnut was a little fresher than an average store-bought doughnut but the toppings of both doughnuts weren’t great. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it unless you were in the area and didn’t want to drive to get a doughnut. I would be open to trying their ice cream inside but not to buy their...
