The Qdoba in Plainview has become one of our favorite spots for casual, flavorful meals. While it’s often compared to Chipotle, in many ways Qdoba has its own edge — from their wider range of flavors to their creative menu items. ⸻ Bowls, Tacos & Empanadas We’re big fans of their bowls — fresh, hearty, and fully customizable, with great choices for proteins, toppings, and sauces. My kids especially love the bowls here, and the tacos are always a hit too. The empanadas are another favorite — crisp, flavorful, and perfect as a snack or part of a full meal. ⸻ Chips, Dips & Combos One of the real standouts at Qdoba is their Diablo chips — perfectly seasoned with a nice spicy kick that pairs beautifully with their queso or guacamole. Their combo packages make it easy to mix and match, so you can enjoy chips, dips, and entrées together for a filling, satisfying meal. ⸻ Why We Love This Location This Plainview location is our go-to. The food is always fresh, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick even during busy times. The restaurant is clean and well-kept, making it a comfortable spot for both dine-in and takeout. ⸻ Overall Between the flavorful bowls, tasty empanadas, spicy Diablo chips, and generous combo options, Qdoba in Plainview delivers a dining experience that keeps us coming back. If you like Chipotle, you’ll enjoy Qdoba — and you might even find, like we have, that in many ways it’s even better.

After shopping at IKEA Hicksville, wanted to try something different. We're not huge Tex Mex fans, but wanted to try the fare and this place was on the way to the LIE. Ordered online and it was ready to go when we arrived 10 minutes later. Restaurant looked clean and bright, servers were courteous and cheerful. The food here, like at Chipotle and Moe's, etc. isn't bad. It's just the appearance of a bunch of ingredients all kind of slopped onto a soggy, recycled (maybe?) paper bowl. The colors were vibrant and everything tasted fresh, it's just that the appearance, totally - subjective, devalued the merit of the individual ingredients. Probably 4 stars if you're a fan of "bowl" type cuisine.

Wow, awesome place. So much better than old Qdoba. Good selection of fresh proteins and toppings. Manager and staff on top of everything and friendly service. Nice to see a place like this open in plainview shopping center. I suggest adding raw avocado as a topping (not just guac). Also please add breakfast burritos! Good job guys I’ll be back and so nice to have a good alternative to chipotle.

The gentleman that works at this Qdoba, not sure if he is the owner or the manager, he is so frugal and CHEAP!!!

I go there almost every day to get a vegetarian burrito, as such I ask for both white rice and a bit of brown rice, and everyone has always made it without any issues.

What does he do? He serves up the white rice, but when I request a bit of brown rice as well, he goes to the extent of picking out some of the white rice from the burrito and puts it BACK INTO THEIR serving bowl!!! WOW!!!

And he uses the excuse that the burrito won't close, so ridiculuos and pathetic.

Not only that, but he is introducing the risk of cross-contamination and this is one rule you do not break.

I've actually dealt with this situation before with the same gentleman, which made this even more aggravating. I told him not to stress about it since my burrito closes just fine without meat and without many other toppings.

I have had probably hundreds and hundreds of burritos which are ordered the same way every time here at Qdoba, and these wrap and close just fine, without any issues.

That gentleman ought to be ashamed for his penny-pinching ways and a cheap mentality, and it really doesn't speak well for the quality of Qdoba's food.

Taking off less than a quarter an inch of rice from the burrito makes me wonder what other corners they're cutting to save costs and compromise on quality.

Absolutely disgusted by this gentleman and the Qdoba brand.

I have been loyal to Chipotle for more than 10 years and never I have seen such a cost-cutting stunt.

This goes beyond a minor hassle; it shows a cheap mindset that makes you lose customers, trust and...

The other day I went to pick up the Grilled Chicken Family Meal Kit to-go, and when I went to pick it up, only one of the two bags was labeled. Therefore, I had left the store with only one of the two bags since only one of the two bags had my name on it.

However, as soon as I had realized that half of the family kit was missing when I returned home, I called Qdoba right away and told them about the situation. The person who had picked up was incredibly sympathetic and understanding of the situation. This person had told me to make sure to go to the counter when I come back to Qdoba to pick up the second bag of the family kit.

Upon arriving at the store to pick up the second bag of the family kit, I went right to the counter as instructed, and the manager asks if I was the person who did not take the second bag of the family kit due to it not being labeled, and I told him how that is correct and how I was that person.

The manager then sincerely apologized and asked if there is anything that he could do to make it up to me. I ended up accepting a free soda, and I must say, that manager displayed incredible customer service.

The manager from this Qdoba branch has exactly the right kind of demeanor for this type of business, and I will certainly be recommending this specific Qdoba location to all of my friends. This was a perfect example of stellar customer service, and it is situations like these that make me want to continue to go back to this specific Qdoba location.

This was a perfect example of excellent customer service by the Qdoba manager at...
