Villaggio — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

So my husband, daughter and I come in often because it’s usually quiet and it’s the only place we feel we can allow our 3 year old to be a toddler without disturbing anyone. With that being said, the owners daughter always goes above and beyond for us. She is amazing with our daughter and the food is just as amazing. Their Grandma is my absolute favorite. Recently, I tried their chicken Cesar salad and I ate it for 2 days because the portion was very large and filling. My husband has ordered their hot food and he is always happy eating/ ordering in from there. We just ate there 2 weeks ago and I plan on picking up from there tonight.

I just read all the negative reviews about veterans and I felt the need to post because we’ve gotten to know them since we moved in almost 5 years ago and I have never seen them mistreat anyone. They are the friendliest family operated business I know and I will continue to support them.

P.S. they are even better than Umbertos on Park Blvd. Yes, umbertos is usually everyone’s favorite since they are very popular on LI and I was so excited when they opened up in town, but their Massapequa location does not compare to the one in Bellmore. We first tried the pizza when they first opened up. It was a "WOW" experience for us. The crust was thin and crisp, the sauce perfectly seasoned, the amount of cheese and the spinach and broccoli toppings were tasty and well cooked (not like the big, hard broccoli stalk pieces that seem to make their way onto some of the broccoli pizzas we've ordered from other places!). Then, I decided to try the side of eggplant parm. Mind you, I'm an eggplant parm "snob" and a very tough critic, since I base it on the eggplant parm my mother and aunts used to make, and taught us to make. Another "WOW"! Thin sliced and breaded ep, delicious sauce, just the right amount of mozzarella...loved it!!! I've added their eggplant parm to one of perhaps only two or three places on the Island I would ever order it from again. Delicious! We order food from them weekly, and are never disappointed. Since then, we've tried several other of their fine dishes. Always giving excellent, friendly customer service, food ready and waiting when they tell you it will be, added to their terrific Italian fare, makes for a well deserved, highly earned 5 star rating! The food is delicious and we’ve always had a good experience eating here.

Parking isn’t the best, but it’s worth negotiating the hassle of parking for good eats. You can always have them deliver if you are concerned with parking.

It’s nice to be appreciated for your business and better still when the food is terrific.

There are plenty of local choices for pizza; many of which don’t make you feel like they take pride in their work and appreciate your business. Well done Villaggio!
