I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the appalling customer service I received during my recent visit to your establishment at Pelham Pkwy on June 20, 2024. The experience I encountered, due to the behavior of your staff, was completely unacceptable and has compelled me to file this formal complaint.
Upon arrival at Dave & Buster's with my party of 10, consisting of 3 adults and 7 children, I was greeted by a host named Mya who displayed a lack of flexibility and accommodation in seating us. Despite my explanations, Mya left me seated at a table with insufficient chairs and walked away, leaving us in a state of confusion and discomfort.
Subsequently, I encountered further distress when I approached a server named Brianna for assistance in resolving the seating issue. Brianna exhibited a disrespectful attitude, rolling her eyes and displaying clear signs of disinterest in assisting us. Her unprofessional behavior only added to our frustration and disappointment.
It was only after seeking out the manager, Jeremy, to address the situation that I received any semblance of helpfulness and concern. While Mr. Jeremy attempted to rectify the situation and salvage our experience, the damage had already been done. The lack of professionalism and courtesy exhibited by your staff members had severely tarnished our visit to your establishment.
As a result of this unfortunate incident, my party and I decided to forego further patronage of Dave & Buster's. We waited for the children to finish their activities and utilize the funds we had loaded onto their cards before departing to dine elsewhere, in an establishment that values and prioritizes exceptional customer service.
I implore you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate measures to prevent such occurrences in the future. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, courtesy, and professionalism at all times, regardless of the circumstances. I trust that you will address this complaint promptly and take the necessary steps to ensure that all guests are provided with a positive and enjoyable experience at your establishment.

On August 3rd 2024 I decided to take my kids to the Pelham manor Dave and Buster location for a Lil Saturday afternoon treat. Upon arrival at about 3:10pm I was met with two front desk staff one of whom was very pleasant and welcoming, we bought our game tokens and went to the gaming area where I met one of the guys who was cleaning tables closest to the bar area, I ask him if I could have the table he was cleaning as it would be suitable for my party of 5 people, however he told me that I would have to let the host(EMILY BOBBETT) have me seated. I went to the host (EMILY BOBBETT)and told her, she proceed to the table area pass all the tables to include the one that I had requested and brought to the back to the last table next to the kitchen entrance on a day that's 95 degrees which makes inside the venue feels like the ac was of no use. At this point I turn to Emily and ask why is she trying to seat us at the back so close to the kitchen area where it was hot she then turn and Said that the THE TABLES AT THE FRONT WERE ALREADY RESERVED FOR OTHER GUEST. So we refused those tables and she suggested the sports area, we got a table that was messy and smells fishy. At this point we were met by Kareen who gave us the best welcome so far. Kareen listen to our complaints about the table and decide to move us and even ask where we wanted to be seat and even suggested the same tables that we had previously requested from the host that was not being occupied by anyone at the. It was at this point I realized that Emily Bobbett was lying about the table being reserved which causes me to be of the opinion that she is RACIST and being PREJUDICE. The good part about all this is the manager (Jemma Ellis) who was on duty at the time was very observant and saw what was taking place and intervene, spoken to the host (Emily) about the situation then apologized on Emily's behalf, offered us a discount on our meals and gave us 5 game cards on top of what we had already bought. Read moreMy fiancé and I are big fans of Dave and Busters. We recently moved to the Pelham area and decided to try this location out. Upon entering, we were not greeted by anyone. We decided to walk ourselves to the bar area since it was happy hour. Once approaching the bar area, there was a strange smell in the air and we moved down thinking it was just the place we decided to sit at initially. We moved more toward the center of the bar where we could be noticed by the bartenders. There were 3 bartenders walking around at the time and we were not acknowledged much less greeted by any of them for at least 5-10 minutes. Finally, when someone approached us, we were asked what we wanted without even being offered a menu. When we got the drink/food menu, we ordered quickly to not have to wait another 10 minutes for someone to come back to take our order. We got the first round of drinks which tasted mainly like juice and barely any alcohol. We decided to drink them anyway being that we already had to wait long to even get the drinks. We finished our first round and again, the 3 bartenders kept walking past us not even offering another round or even picking up the clearly empty glasses. Also, the bad smell was still present the entire time we've been sitting and when we finally looked over the bar, we noticed what could have possibly been causing the awful smell. It was a huge puddle of god knows what that the bartenders just kept stepping over and possibly dragging it all over the bar. After everything, we decided to get 1 more drink, hoping that it would have a stronger touch of alcohol. Once we finished, we paid and left. We usually play the games for an hour or two but the entire experience let us down so bad and we considered driving to the old location we used to go to over 30 minutes away.
