Cam's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Penfield

So I stopped in just for a slice and I saw that they made "stromboli".....Well, thats my wife's FAVORITE, and its hard to find a place that makes them, so when I saw that on the menu I thought, " this will be better than coming home with flowers"

So I go inside, order a slice and 2 stromboli. Service was quick, friendly and polite. Really can't speak more highly of the staff. The atmosphere was small but welcoming enough for a quick casual date night.

I got my order quick and went on my way. But when I presented my wife with the elusive "stromboli", the box only contained a sad, anorexic calzone....without ricotta cheese as was advertised. Fellas, stromboli is more or less a loaf of cheesy bread, with occasional toppings added. Not a sauce less pizza folded in half.....that's a calzone. If you do t want to make them, then don't put them on the menu. If you don't know better, time to talk to the franchisee and let them know you...

After taking my order from 1 of 2 employees, I sat and waited 20 to 25 minutes inside. The other employee asked if he could help me and I said I already ordered a submarine sandwich 25 minutes ago if he checked the order computer. In the meantime, 3 other customers who came in after me were served before me and I was ignored. I asked the young woman what was going on and why my submarine sandwich was taking so long after those other customers who came in after me and she only said that they were busy. That was a lie because I saw only 1 other customer in there besides me. There were also not any delivery drivers coming in or out. Cam’s needs to retrain their employees to treat the customers who show up in person with respect in order for timing. If there are issues, communicate to them and apologize sincerely and not throw the sandwich down and ignore me and run away. I did not...

So a woman just started I mean I assume she just started because I haven’t seen her before she works tonight I wish I got her name I just want to leave a review specifically for her. I’ve never really been a fan of Cam‘s it’s more my boyfriends forte that I’m not really a pizza person at all but we’ve been ordering more and more because it’s the closest pizza place to our area that actually has decent pizza so I’ve actually been indulging myself a little bit and I will admit the foods good but what really made my experience amazing today and I’m sure will in the future was this woman that the owner just hired. The owner was there tonight to she’s always awesome but this lady just really made me feel special and I think that they did an amazing job hiring her and I will probably keep ordering just to say hello.
