Food was ok, service was a bit rushed. Seated at 8pm, many staff was walking around, cleaning and chatting as the restaurant wasn't that busy. Someone brought us some fried noodles, we then waited as no one came by to take our order. After 30 mins, someone came by and asked if we were done eating. We had to inform her that our server has not come by yet as we still have our menus and no food. She went to find our server, by the time she took our order it read 8:40pm. We ordered appetizers and main dishes and we finally got some water to drink. Our appetizer came to the table, and the server said our food is about done and if she can bring it out now. Our table was small and the appetizer took up all the space. I asked if there was any room on the table for that, she looked then said guess not but urged us to eat fast as the kitchen wants to close. It's as if she forgot we were sitting for over 40 mins in a dead restaurant before they took the order. As we were eating out apps, she came back about 3 mins later, Hoover over us asking if she can take our plates away, when we were still eating and putting food in our mouths. She kept hovering over us then said, I hope I don't feel like I'm trying to rush you. I said, that's exactly what you are doing. She left and came back a few minutes later, saying the kitchen is demanding we take our food. So we couldn't finish our apps, got our food and asked for more water. She disappeared and never brought water. We had our food, another person asked if we needed take home containers, we took them, paid, thirsty as we never got more water and left. Good was ok, service was not. It wasn't our fault they messed up but they treated us like we came in 5 mins before they closed. We used to enjoy those place pre-pandemic. We decided we'll...
Read moreSomething has changed in the kitchen. Maybe we caught a fill in chief or recipe's/ingratiates have changed. The menu has been drastically shortened which is no big deal if the taste hadn't changed. Most of the dishes lacked the great flavor we had been accustomed to in the past. We had to add salt to just about everything to have any flavor at all. We had 2 beef dishes that had beef that was like chewing unsalted sponges. Lo mien noodles lacked taste also needing salt. We had 2 different rice sides, house and shrimp/chicken & pork that were tasteless. Also noticed the lack of water chestnuts in all the dishes that used to be there. Everything else was great, service, cleanliness, wait staff, but if the food lacks great taste what good is it. My wife doesn't want to go back, doesn't want to spend 150 bucks for 4 people and not like the food. People at the next table weren't happy either and mentioned the lack of taste, they were loyal customers too. Royal Dynasty, get your act together in the kitchen. We love you.
Last Year Posting Sat down with some of the family last evening, table for 5. Patrick was our server and host. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. We had many dishes and not a one was something we didn't enjoy. Every thing is spotless including the rest rooms. Patrick and staff were very attentive and accommodating. Couldn't be happier with...
Read moreMy wife and I happened to be in Webster around dinner time and were looking for chinese cuisine. This restaurant came up on our search. We went to the address and found the place. You might not notice it if you were just passing by - the non discript signage is masked by the modern in-your-face signage of the surrounding businesses. It is worth finding as there is a spacious dining area with white tablecloths and subdued but adequate lighting. The staff is friendly and attentive. The waiter brought out a complementary serving of wonton noodles with the spicy mustard and sweet & sour sauce. My wife really enjoyed the spicy mustard! I ordered the Mongolian Beef and my wife ordered the eggplant in garlic sauce. The food came reasonably soon on an elegantly shaped plate. Best of all the food was piping hot! I finished mine but my wife took some of hers home. I tasted her dish - both were delicious! The Mongolian Beef was not advertised or served as spicy - but you can ask for it to be prepared that way. My wife's dish was advertised as spicy and she was asked how spicy she wanted it. I can recommend this restaurant for those who want to enjoy their meal in a pleasant surrounding with non-invasive...
