The Main Course — Restaurant in Town of Philipstown

Wow! So happy I found this place. My husband and I came up from the city to hike yesterday and stopped by here on our way to the trailhead to grab some sandwiches to eat along our hike. Both of our sandwiches were fresh and delicious. When we saw the baked goods, we both had to get one and they were incredible. I'm still dreaming about that berry scone. Will definitely be stopping by here before all of our hikes moving forward.

On a side note: you all should make little take away bags/picnic kits for hikers! I loved eating my yummy sandwich with a view at the top and I'm sure...

A gourmet takeout spot that cooks a variety of delicious offerings on site. I found them online and wanted to check them out while we were in town for a long holiday weekend. We ordered a salmon cake, chicken burger, broccoli rabe, corn salad and a pretzel stick to share. It came up to $40. Everything is sold by weight. Today I visited The Main Course & purchased a good size order. All of the employees are always so nice. Today I had the pleasure of seeing Tim. He is most courteous and kind to all customers. Packs the orders so neatly. Such a friendly and professional disposition. He is such an asset to this business. I witnessed him taking orders and was so impressed. Every employee , including Tim, is so welcoming that patrons will always come back. And the food is soooo delicious. I tell all my friends to go here. Keep up...
