I came here with a buddy of mine to feast after hiking through the Cornish Estate trail (definitely worth checking out). Normally when I visit a restaurant, I try things that are interesting and different. Looking through the variety of slices available, I asked the gentleman behind the counter to recommend me some slices. I ended up with a Margherita slice, a BBQ Pulled Pork slice, and the Eggplant Garlic Knot sandwich. My friend had gotten a pepperoni slice and the spicy pepperoni with hot honey (not pictured). I didn't get to try his slices, but he really liked the pepperoni slice. He enjoyed the spicy one as well, but he said it was a little too spicy and sweet for his taste. He did end up getting an additional pepperoni slice. I went for the BBQ slice first, and it was FANTASTIC! Literally perfect in every way. The margherita slice however was rather plain. It wasn't bad by any regard, but I thought it was going to be just as good as the BBQ slice. Perhaps my taste buds were all over the place from the first slice. The biggest surprise here was the Garlic Knot Sandwich however. To be honest I wasn't expecting to like it; I only got it for the sake of trying something different, but I'm glad I did. Of the three, this was my absolute favorite. The combination of the pesto with the balsamic glaze and eggplant melded so perfectly. The staff inside was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the accompanying ambiance was calm and relaxing. The interior was also very clean. Overall this place was absolutely fantastic. The only thing that kept them from getting 5 stars was the margherita slice I had. It wasn't bad, but I felt that it was lacking, especially in comparison to the other items I had. Definitely making the journey to come here again

Good old pizza place in Cold Spring. Following our five and half hours hike up the Breakneck Ridge, amongst other loops, my friend and I were in need of a quick refuel before we catch the train back to NYC. Pizza seemed like the perfect food to have. The store is a 7-minute walk from the Cold Spring Metro North Station. The place has a classic design from the window, to the menu panel and seats inside. They have quite a vast amount of food choices too! Anything from pizza, seafood spaghetti, to soft served ice cream! I got the chicken, bacon, and chipotle sauce pizza. My friend got his with fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, and what seems to be thinly sliced sausages. On top of it, we got the classic cheese pizza to share. The total came to $12 for 3 pizzas. Not sure if it applies now, but if you pay cash you can get a 3% discount, according to a sign written on the cash register. There is a seating area outside of the store. There is no indoor dining as of now yet due to the coronavirus. The pizzas were great! Thin crusts with the right amount of sauce and cheese so the bread remained crisp. They were flavorful yet not overwhelming. The only thing that I wasn't too crazy about was, as is expected with the majority of pizzas, there were a little bit of extra grease, which probably came from the bacon and cheese. Regardless they were still great pizzas! We savoured each bite that it only left us with just enough time to walk back and catch the train. Will definitely get more the next time we return.

We absolutely loved this place! After a long 6-hour hike from Beacon to Cold Spring, we came here a bit late and the classic pies were already gone, so we tried a slice of Grandma Margherita Pizza and one Eggplant pizza. The Grandma Margherita was simply amazing – wow! The Eggplant slice is more for those who enjoy that flavor, but still interesting to try. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly. This spot always feels like the right choice when we come to Cold Spring. After such a tough hike, that pizza was exactly what we needed. Highly recommended to everyone!

I orders a pizza. Was told 30 minutes. Called after 45 to check in. Was told the driver was on his way and should be there shortly. Now after 1 hour and 10 minutes, I give him a call again. He tells me very rudely that the driver just left 10 minutes ago. So that being said, I stay only 15 minutes away from Cold Spring Pizza, meaning he should arrive any minute. 20 more minutes go by. A total of 1 hour and 30 minutes wait time when I was told 30 minutes initially. The owner offers me beer and to drink as a solution to the problem. I tell him I don't want that. He tells me he will give me a free pizza the next time. So when I call in the next time around (tonight) he tells me that "Your being a wise guy and your busting my chops, and I will never deliver pizza to Surprise Lake Camp." After that he hung up on me. I really love the pizza they serve. What an unfortunate and terrible experience for a...
