If you are a history buff this should be on your list to see if in the area. I would not make a long trip just for here. Just ruins but the many 1800's contributions made from here are amazing. Dont believe? Read up on the place. I read on one of the displays, the USS Monitor's cannons were made here as well as the Merrimack's engines Did not know. Nice trails to various areas. Great job with the displays at each stop. Only problem was with my cellular carrier I could not get a signal to listen to the audio presentations at each stop. Markers along the path inform about the site's history. One lovely intact building fun 1865.
