Old Souls — Local services in Town of Philipstown

I’m not one of those who writes reviews and in fact, I abhor it when the sales person requests that I “like” them online however, I had the most incredible and wonderful shopping experience with OLD SOULS NY located in Coldspring. They offered old -time excellent customer service, which is almost Unheard of these days! I was trying to locate the store that my father had purchased two jackets for Christmas and did not have any receipts (nor was my father very clear about what store ) so I went into old souls on a hunch and Joanna, the sales associate was so warm and accommodating, and she went out of her way to look up old orders and receipts, and made an exchange absolutely seamless and wonderful. The store itself is absolutely beautiful and have wonderful things and I will definitely be back to shop but more importantly I just wanted to applaud them and their exceptional old time excellent service that they provided and how outstanding Joanna was as a sales associate. Was in Old Souls with my family including my niece and nephew along with my son. My family left before me and they did not realize I was with them and they started to speak very poorly of the 3 little kids who just in there for only 5 minutes. They mocked what they were doing called them disgusting little kids. The guy behind the counter said he needed to sanitize the store as if they were some nasty smelly kids and he instantly grabbed windex and things to clean with. I thought about saying something to him but not as many people may find how rude they were. I go into the store once in a while and like to check out what they have and usually buy something. Have been going up to Livingston Manor for years and my first stop is always Old Souls! The service there is excellent and they have a wide variety. I can’t say enough about Mike Kaplan he is without a doubt the nicest most accommodating sales person I’ve ever met! He always remembers me and his service is superb. I live in Manhattan w my husband and we go up there every season of the year so he can go fly fishing.
