We visited this beautiful park on a cold winter morning. Even though it was a Saturday, there weren't too many people around. Along with the beautiful views of the Hudson River, you get a chance to walk along the river in the path that runs parallel to it. We met some friendly locals who offered to take our pictures. Parking was available right outside the park and it was free. The town centre is at a walking distance from here and is totally worth visiting. Loved our visit here and we will be back one...
Read moreTake it from a local: the park is not open after dark. It's a beautiful place but on weekends is utterly inundated and overrun with tourists. Not really fun like it used to be unless you like gobs of tourists. Avoid the restaurant on the corner - second-rate.
