Bagel World — Restaurant in Town of Poughkeepsie

I’ve been coming to bagel world since I moved here in February. This week alone I’ve been there three times. The food is beyond amazing. My favorite thing to order is the Alexander avocado but I add spinach, onion, and tomato. Sometimes I even substitute the egg for grilled chicken. Everything is so fresh and so flavorful. You will never meet better staff. Alan Is always attentive and really takes his time with everything that he makes. He never makes you feel like you’re bothering him when you have a question and he’s always extremely thoughtful and helpful. Katie is also a gem who we love to see there. She is a literal walking beam of light. Not only is the food good but the way they make you feel when you walk in makes you feel like you’re a part of a family. We even were sick one day and did a DoorDash order and Kevin called us just to make sure everything was correct! This is beyond amazing Customer Service. I have been going to this location fairly regularly since it opened. I order basically the same two items events time. This morning I went and did the same. The staff did not write down the order which is pretty typical but often worked. The woman who helped me Asked twice about my order and I told her the same thing. I got home and found one breakfast sandwich was prepared wrong. I returned to the store and the employee who made it asked what was wrong. I responded and they told me I was wrong and they asked me twice. She then proceeded to be hostile about it and reminded me where I was standing and that I was wrong twice. Another employee tried to mitigate and defuse the situation. I was equally aggravated. The other employed asked her what my order was that she claimed she knew so well. I never leave reviews for places but the bagel world in Arlington deserves all the positive attention an establishment can get.

I’ve been going to bagel world since they first opened and not once have I had a bad experience.

The staff really makes it an enjoyable experience every-time. No matter how busy they are the staff is friendly and accommodating. They work so hard to keep the place nice, clean and welcoming while providing everyone with a positive experience. It’s nice to see the same faces as well time and time again.

The food is always fresh and delicious. With a ton of bagel options and cream cheeses you’ll never lack in variety.

Their salads and sandwiches are worth trying as well, and my son loves the breakfast wraps and omelettes.

I’ve been to the location in Wappingers and it doesn’t compare to the Arlington location in terms of service.
