It’s a chain restaurant, so don’t expect amazing food. We’ve visited this location periodically since we moved to Dutchess three years ago because my son loves it. Most of the food is fine, it’s not my first choice of place togo for burgers, but it’s generally reasonably priced with rewards/coupons throughout the year. I had several reward coupons and my son was off of school today, so he wanted to go for lunch. First, the kids meal used to be half-price on Wednesdays but now it requires a promo code to redeem. Not a big deal since it’s not really that expensive anyway, just more of an annoyance. There were many signs throughout the restaurant and we were also warned by the host that there are supply chain issues, so they were out of most items and they only had burgers and fries. I had a coupon for a free dessert which I planned to redeem today but they had no desserts. I had another coupon for a free appetizer so I asked the waiter and he said he “thought they had pretzel bites and onion rings and the coupon should apply to those,” so I decided to redeem my free birthday burger instead. Usually the food comes out pretty quickly but it took at least 20 to 25 minutes today (I took a picture of my son shortly after we ordered and the food did not come out for over 20 minutes after I took the picture, which is how I could confirm). Additionally, when it came out, everything was lukewarm like it had been sitting. My burger was good although I wish they would cook to requested temps. Luckily we were able to get drink and hot fry refills from the food runner. We were seated at a table without a working kiosk, which was an annoyance when we wanted the check. There was one waiter handling the entire restaurant and although he was mostly attentive, he seemed to lack any sense of urgency. We then had to give him our phone number for the rewards and he had to redo the check because of the kiosk not working, but yet he still managed to somehow double charge us so we had to track him down again, get refunded and be charged correctly. Overall between the long wait times, inability to redeem offers, room-temperature food and general frustration, I will not be going to Red Robin again anytime soon. I understand there are food and staff issues, but if I’m going out to eat, I don’t want to be frustrated. Five Guys is in the same parking lot and although it costs more, the food and service are much better. County Fare or Schatzi’s are much better options if we want a...
Read moreBrought my Wife and Son here to celebrate my Son's birthday. The burgers are big and juicy and come with your choice of never-ending sides; broccoli, side salad, steak fries or chips. For an extra $1.49 you can upgrade your side to garlic & herb steak fries or sweet potato fries. Our waitress was spunky and sweet and at the end of dinner a whole group of waitstaff brought my Son a complimentary dessert sundae and sang "Happy Birthday" to him. I would have given 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ but as dinner was ending, I asked our waitress to freshen up my coffee. I expected her to bring out a pot and refill my cup. Instead, she took my cup and said she would be back. When she brought my full cup to the table she set it down inadvertently on top of my phone which she did not see. This would have been fine except as she didn't notice my phone she did not set the coffee directly on the phone and it spilled, onto my phone and into my plate where 1/4 of my burger and fries remained. Our waitress grabbed the paper towels from the table and began to clean up and did apologize for her mistake. Soaked bun aside, I finished my burger, yummmmm. This could have been avoided if the coffee pot was brought to the table like every other restaurant I patronize. Time to re-evaluate your service. What bothered me the most was that no one from management stopped by to make sure we were alright afterwards. I paid my bill from the table kiosk and then another problem. The kiosk was out of receipt paper causing me to have to wait for our waitress to come out from the kitchen to ask for a copy of my receipt. BTW, there should be a third option for receipts, and that is BOTH e-mail and printed for those of us who keep those kinds of...
Read moreThanks again for a great dining experience as always and I was happy to share a dinner here with my family. I am a frequent patron of Red Robin with my girlfriend but it was my brother's birthday and he was planning on going to Texas Roadhouse. Upon entering Texas Roadhouse, I was immediately insulted and embarrassed by their staff as well as management for my inability to put a covering over my face. After being offered the ability to wait outside in the icy February winter with my 70 year old father as well as with the rest of my family, I told them we will be taking our money elsewhere. Shame on them. I quickly suggested Red Robin and everyone perked up and almost immediately forgot about the insulting ordeal we had just experienced. I assured them that I have never had a problem at Red Robin and the reliable staff was more than happy to seat our party of 7 without any issues at all. I think outside of having the best burger and sandwich combos in town, Red Robin also has the best drink options by far. My brother agrees with me that you guys make the best house margarita as well! Keep it up because it is the gold standard. Our server, Manal I believe it was, deserved every bit of the 50% gratuity. 👍 She was awesome and she kept everyone full and happy. As a loyal Red Robin customer, I'm glad you guys were able to impress my family and save the day after Texas Roadhouse tried to ruin it. I'm happy to patronize a business that values its customers and their freedom over virtue signaling. Keep up the great...
