I’m going to start off by saying that my husband and I have been here a few times and liked it- the service was always decent and the food pretty good. So tonight-we were starving and craving burgers. We knew it was burger night and decided to go there for dinner and a drink. We walked in the door at 5:54 pm- semi busy- usual night. At about 6:15 I asked the host if we had a waitress because we would like to order-I’d seen 3 different waitresses in our section and not one acknowledged us. He apologized and said he would get her. At this point if we weren’t so hungry we would have walked out. At 6:21 a waitress came over and told us that we weren’t her table but she was going to take our order for us. We each got a beer and water, I ordered mine with lemon. Drinks come out, no lemon. I let it go, just happy to have a drink and my order in. At 7:02 our burgers finally come out. Mine was undercooked, his was overcooked and both were cold. The buns appeared to have been toasted a long time ago, the burger itself was cold and I got the most tiny, tomato slice for my burger...it was ridiculous. My sweet potato fries were hot but my husbands regular fries were clearly cooked long before mine were as they were cold. By this point, I’m done- ready to get out of there. The waitress came and gave us our check at 7:21(the same waitress that took our order- so still not sure who our waitress was even supposed to be) She leaves us there for another 7 minutes while I’m just wanting to pay and leave. We ended up not walking out the door until 7:36. I worked in the restaurant industry for many years and understand how things can be when it’s busy- and I 100% wouldn’t be upset with the whole ordeal or written this review if the food was at least worth waiting for. If it had at least been HOT I wouldn’t be writing this. I left a brief note for the waitress saying the same thing I’m saying in my long winded fashion here- This was one of the most awful experience I’ve had in a long time. We are locals and never...
Read moreI have Celiac disease, which means I can’t eat even a crumb of gluten or my immune system will attack my digestive tract. I ordered gluten free fajitas to share with my mom as one of our meals, along with boneless wings and a salad (we made sure to specify everything we ordered as gluten free). I felt safe to eat everything since they brought it out as gluten free and assured it was gluten free and that was my mistake to blindly trust that. I ate one of the fajitas with the tortilla they came with (it didn’t raise any red flags on first glance since they were the same size as corn tortillas). Later on though I put two and two together and realized that they were in fact not corn tortillas based on texture. I asked the waitress and she said yes they were gluten free, but then went and asked her manager at my request. She then came back after checking and said ya I’m sorry they are not gluten free. She said said she also has celiac and said ya it’s terrible stomach pain. I agreed but then informed her I am extremely symptomatic and could already feel that something was off. I then went to projectile vomit in their bathroom. While I was gone the manager came out and informed my mom that they had a new cook and that they also stocked the kitchen wrong, putting the non-gluten free items where the gluten free items are supposed to be (heads up to anyone who is sensitive to cross contamination). Thankfully they took the fajitas off the bill, but unfortunately not any of the other food that we ordered that was cross contaminated by sharing our meals, and then promptly vomited up in their bathroom. The waitress told me to have a good rest of my day :), which was kinda funny considering I would obviously not be having a good time gastrointestinaly for the foreseeable future. Mistakes happen obviously, it just sucks walking away having paid 30 dollars for a now empty stomach and ruined weekend plans since I’ll be glued...
Read moreI would give zero if I could. Whoever the manager “Kyle Anthony woods” is should not be allowed to have any business representing the establishment or dealing with customer service. I went 20 minutes from my home to get a large to go order. A meal was missing which was not caught until I got home. I called The establishment and the girl transferred me to the manager who I referred to above. He asked me what I wanted to do and I said you’re the manager what do you suggest and he stated that they could redo it I would just have to come and get it which is fine except for the fact that that’s my time and money and gas to go all the way back when it should have been checked for it to go order to begin with. I told him I would send my husband and a refund would be nice for the inconvenience and he said he would refund my card if he could find the receipt and which I told him I was there 20 minutes ago and it should be in the system to be found. He called me back and told me that my credit card would be refunded tonight and I said okay, when will the meal be ready? My husband is on his way, in which he told me that that was not the conversation when in fact it was as other witnesses had heard the conversation on speakerphone, he chose to mock what I had said “he’s the manager what would he suggest” and then laugh and I told him that it was very unprofessional to be treating a customer this way and that I would like to speak to somebody else in which he told me there was nobody else and I said I will be in contact with the owners as he should not be somebody representing the business and he told me his name was Kyle Anthony Woods, and that Susan and her husband (who won the establishment) love him and would laugh this whole thing off and then hung up on me. I will not ever order again. Shame on the company for trusting a person of such low caliber...
