Update 5/18/24: I am not sure how things went downhill so fast. Or we had an epically bad night that was a fluke. We come here monthly, usually due to the gluten-free options and my husband's dietary restrictions. Normally, everything is perfectly cooked and quick, considering how busy they are most of the time. Tonight, we came to celebrate my husband's birthday. He ordered a full rack of ribs. They were burned, dried to a crisp. His fries died 10 minutes before they got to the table, and the beans were cold. His meal was inedible. I gave him my ribs, which was a half rack cooked perfectly. I also had BBQ chicken and beans that were hot. The same beans are completely opposite the temperature. It was just weird. There were very few people there and no wait for the first time. I don't know if the terrible food is a one-off or not as we haven't been here for about 3 months due to trying Green Bay out.It certainly was nothing like this any previous visit. The music was blaring when they seated us. We had difficulty talking to each other at our booth without shouting. No one else was in our section as the other 2 tables left right after we sat down. At the end of the meal, a bartender was cleaning the bar next to us and must have turned the music down because it was much better. Great music, but it gave me a headache by the time it was turned down. We let the server know about the disappointing food. I really hope they get better with quality control. Update 10/20/23: Extremely busy night. We pre-registered online for a table. Wait, it was about 45 minutes. When we were walking in, there were a lot of people waiting by the door unhappy that it "appeared." we walked in and got seated right away. They didn't understand that we had registered online and waited just as long as the walk-ins. Once seated, everything went quickly. Drinks, food, and service were fantastic! Our meals were cooked to perfection. Fantastic customer service. Fast seating and service in general. Really enjoyed the steaks, chicken, and ribs were to die for. Potato skins and the boneless wings are bursting with flavor. It wasn't very busy as we went on a Monday evening. I ordered a pineapple margarita, and it was made perfectly. I highly recommend trying this place if it's not too packed. Tried going several times in the last few months but couldn't find a parking spot. Easy to find and navigate to as well. The restaurant and the bathroom were very clean. Miss the peanuts but not on the floor. Try it and you...
Read moreMy partner and I came in to eat and it was PACKED. Nothing bad about that at all. The service was great UNTIL my partner had an issue with the fish fry. I personally did not try it because I'm pregnant and fish would've just made me vomit BUT my partner had expressed that the fish was was bland. We brought it up to our server and they brought over the Manager Jordan. First off... he basically blasted the fact that my partner had a problem with the food to everyone sitting around. He spoke so loud that other tables started looking at us. I wasn't aware that having issues with food gave Managers the right to basically try to embarrass customers. Second... my partner asked if he could get something else and let me just say.... this Manager Jordan said "The foods already out Man. The fish is Cod and the batter combined is why it taste like that" So....was that him telling us "too bad so sad"? I just looked at this Manager in complete shock. I've never had a situation in ANY restaurant where a Manager basically told us "we made the food so that's what you get whether or not you like it" The point was MY PARTNER WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE FOOD. And to sit there as Manager and shrug your shoulders amd say "The foods already out Man" was absolutely MIND BOGGLING. I just told the Manager "if we have to pay for both meals then I dont care, that's fine." The Manager agreed to that of course and I just told him to throw the fish fry away because why would my partner eat it if he's unsatisfied with it. The Manager did give us 50% off for the fish fry but the cost really didn't matter at all and WAS NOT THE PROBLEM!!! It was the unprofessionalism and the embarrassment that we went through. I hope that next time another customer is unsatisfied with their meal that the Manager of that shift doesn't blast their business loudly in front of other tables. Completely...
Read moreI have to say that every time I have tried to order takeout through this pandemic I have felt as though I was an inconvenience. This last time really took the cake. I had called on Saturday and asked about your special that you had as far as the hundred dollars in gift cards and receive appetizers for a year. The gal that answered the phone said that it ended on Sunday. I had to run to a different curbside pickup and in the meantime I realized I had forgotten to pick up my gift cards. So, I drove over to the Texas Roadhouse and called them from the parking lot. As usual they wanted me to come in. ( Not sure why this is always being uttered, it's the ONLY place I have been in 2020 that asks me to come in!) I said I could not as I left the house quickly and didn't expect to be going in anywhere so I did not have shoes on and I did not have a mask (not that, that matters at this Roadhouse). This gal now told me that, that promotion goes until the end of December! Till the end of Dec? Yes, plenty of time to come back another day. At this point I was mind blown as I'm sitting in the parking lot wanting to spend $100 and I'm told I can come back another time because somebody is too lazy to walk out and hand me these gift cards? Really? Now I can drive my 15 minutes back home and chalk up my wasted 40 minutes trying to spend money at your store. Apparently customers are not really needed there. I have never been so irritated I will not be buying the gift cards this year. I will buy from a place that has more respect and appreciation for customers and the money spent. Big fail Roadhouse, big fail.... Time for my family and I to find...
