Seaside Grill — Restaurant in Town of Riverhead

We went for lunch at 1:10 on a Friday. The waiter came over and brought us our drinks in a very short amount of time, along with a basket of homemade potato chips. However, from the time the waiter took our order until we got our food, it was FORTY FIVE minutes. I ordered two appetizers for lunch: The Potstickers (which were good), and the Thai Noodle Salad (terribly bland; there wasn't enough salt at the table to bring taste into that dish). We asked the waiter WHY it took so long to get our order and he explained that it was a logistic nightmare; the kitchen is on the THIRD floor and they have to deal with elevators to get the food outside and up a set of stairs to the deck where the restaurant is. The architect should be shot... Nice place for a drink, but...

Ok so we’re on vacation - we live in NY and are food snobs. We’re staying in the hotel next door and look out our window and see this little restaurant on the water but oddly situated behind some buildings off the main drag. We ordered 5 things and literally all 5 knocked it outta the park… I don’t write many reviews on restaurants but this place compelled me to write one. Some specifics: we ordered “to go” so we could sit in our hotel room and eat . We got the tuna ceviche, truffle fries, Hawaiian chicken, shrimp tacos and the goat cheese salad with strawberries. All outstanding. Don’t let the location fool you. It’s the best ‘new’ (for us) restaurant we’ve been to in as long as I can remember and can’t post pics bc we ate...

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I asked the bartender was someone sitting here because there was still some glasses on the bar, no, give me a minute and I broke clear it 10 minutes later my fiance has to say (I'm getting kind of parched over here) he finally came to us and asked us what we like to drink I just drank water she had a beer from. Anyway, i came there on a Groupon, I ordered four dishes and got three, the lost dish came before we was bout to leave and the guy hands my fiance a hot place the food sucks and so did the service the bartender has real issues his name is Tim or Jim I'm...
