The WORST STAFF I have ever interacted with. My whole experience was recorded as well. Staff got my order wrong so I came back. I asked them to pull me up to a number spot so I didn’t have to wait behind 6 cars and let the rest of my food get cold. Staff then started to raise their voice with me and try to argue the issue. I just went inside and asked for a refund. The manger then began to try and justify staff speaking to customer like that. When I asked “my other food getting cold well I wait for a missed item doesn’t seem like a quality control issue for you, pluses you think an employee talking to a customer like that is ok? Not to mention your training is wrong if you’re not asking customers follow up questions.” The manger was clearly uninterested in what I had to say and does not care about their customers or standards. Best part I have the whole thing recorded because I really couldn’t believe it. So now I have filled out 2 surveys about this, a google review and call to their 1800 number.
Went back months later and they still can’t get the food right or put together with any level of care. Read moreI visited this location on a Friday morning in mid November . There was a manager working the drive thru and completely unaware of what was happening on his counter. Two female employees proceeded To complain to each other about the fact that they even had to work. They were doing so at a column that every customer in the building could hear as well as the manager if he choose to . When I got up to the counter I ordered 16 breakfast sandwiches and a coffee for the crew I was running down the road at Mavis tire. This was a 70.00 order. I tried to pay with the credit card unit on the counter and it would not read the chip. Mind you I am a regional manager for Mavis and buy my guys breakfast on McDonald's all over the state of New York on a regular basis . This is a company credit card which for some reason the McDonald's card readers will not read. I told the girl she needs to process it by swipe. She proceeded to try it with the chip and then swipe and when it said card cannot be read she tells me she needs a different card. Needless to say I told her this entire crew is a joke , you are all miserable . I walked next store to Burger King got my guys breakfast and was back at work in no time. Read moreI rarely rate. But this McDonald’s no longer allows for a standard DoorDash delivery. The number one fast food restaurant in America and you can’t standardize anymore? Yeah that’s a one star from me. It could be one of two things. It could be that this store is constantly making mistakes because yes, they are. Or it could be the fact that they harassed me by calling me over and over on the phone to try to force me to cancel an order a month ago because they didn’t see my order until 30 minutes later and no longer wanted to get my breakfast. I screenshot the time that I made the order. It was a good 20 minutes before breakfast ended. Yet 30 minutes later, they contacted me saying that breakfast was over and couldn’t give me anything. I don’t know if anybody has children. But when you have children, waiting half an hour to hear that you have to re-order somewhere else completely is not something that children want to hear on a Saturday morning. Point is, I don’t know if it’s just me or if it’s all of Schenectady, you no longer offer a DoorDash standard delivery. I would have to order a day ahead of time which is just crazy, who would ever use DoorDash to do that? Anyway.
