Lola's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Rye

Excellent! Made with fresh basil and oregano, chunks on tomato (on the margarita), and the crust was perfectly done: baked in a brick-bottomed oven.

The staff I interacted with, Maggie & Eli, were two of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time, and this was a hour before closing when they would’ve already been working a long day.

There are a handful of small tables to eat at; order at the counter, and they’ll bring it to your table…also served slices.

The place is kept extremely clean, and even the bathroom was immaculate, smelling like flowers…I’m serious! Everyone there was either working on an order or cleaning.

My 2nd pizza was pepperoni (with extra sauce), and it was NOT one of those where you have to use a napkin to remove all the grease. The taste of the pepperonis really popped, so I know they’re using quality ingredients on that as well.

They’re right at a corner on Main St., Port Chester, so I suppose parking could be a challenge at certain times of the day, but there are 2 community lots around the corner and across the street. I think it’s worth the short walk.

They’ve been open only a few month (as of my writing this), so I hope they gain a following and stick around, because...

Stopped in there with 8 wild kids and the staff was so gracious and kind and helpful to all of us. The pizza came out fast and let me tell you that was one of the best pizzas I've had in a while.
