Just Salad — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

Very expensive for a place that gives you very little. We have been here a few times and the portion size is never the same. It's all based on the person that is preparing your order. You can end up with a half full bowl, three-quarter full bowl or a full bowl. You might get the bread that comes with it, you might not. If you order a salad with chicken, they cut up two chicken nugget sized pieces. Last time I was here, a few pieces fell off the knife onto the cutting board when the server was putting it in the bowl. The server just threw those pieces away instead of adding the to the salad.

The salad dressings are good, especially the ranch and BBQ ranch. The smoothies are delicious. The chocolate chip cookies are also good. The restaurant is clean and the bathroom was ok.

Unfortunately due to lack of consistency with the amount of food you receive, we go to the Garage or another deli for salads...

I have gone to many Just Salads. This location is by far the stingiest one that I have been to. I tried them when they first opened (day 2) and I thought maybe it was just because they were new and still learning. I went back today and had to ask for more lettuce in my salad. I even approached the manager to ask if the salad was a different size in the reusable bowl and he stated that it wasn’t. If I didn’t order this same salad from other locations then I never would’ve known any different. I went home and added two more cups of lettuce to make it the usual size that it is. Hubby and I enjoyed a special stolen hour in a half out of our everyday parent/job life and truly enjoyed the setting and food there. He raves about this establishment that he frequents so often while working in the city and Ive begged him to bring me back an orser whenever he goes. He would always say, we need locations on Long Island! Much to our suprise, when we looked again we found this one. He always gets the Ceasar & I enjiyed a warm sweet potatoe bowl with Kale. It was delicious and the estsblishment wad very clesn & inviting. The staff very welcome, helpful.
