I have been going to MOGU for almost a year now and have never had an issue with this place. You can order through their app, in a kiosk, or in person. I used to be able to order through the website but that stopped working recently so I use the app instead which I don't mind since it's actually more convenient. Because this is near where I work, I prefer to put my order out quickly then get back to work before heading out during my lunch period so I don't waste any time in between. So far, this has always worked for me with MOGU. The food is always finished before the estimated time and it's always as good so I never have any complaints. It's why I tend to go to MOGU than any other store nearby as their estimated times have always been reliable so far. When it's relatively busy during the lunch hour, there are still plenty of seats available so whether you want to quickly grab-and-go or eat there, you can choose whichever suits you. The portion sizes are average. They're not so small that you want more but they're not so large that you're typically taking some food home. Since this place is going to be more expensive than a typical Chinese restaurant, I'd keep that into consideration. In my case, MOGU fills a convenience need more than anything. It's nothing substantial or extraordinary but it is very close to work, I get my food on time and I enjoy it which is why I tend to come here several times a month.

9/21/2025: First time trying this place. A heathy twist on Chinese food. Overall, good tasting food made to order at a modern designed restaurant. Shaleen (cashier) and Freddy (manager) were very courteous, helpful, and friendly. I appreciate that they both walked around and asked other customers and me if we needed anything and how was our food :) This place opened in August 2024. I liked this place a lot better than Panda Express. I ordered the following: 1) Appetizer-Very Good-Steamed Szechuan Chili Dumplings (pork) $10.95 Great flavor and a good amount of spice. I loved the crushed peanuts on top 2a) Main Entree-Very Good-Emperor Tso’s Chicken (all white meat and no nasty chicken pieces) $13.45 I really liked the flavor and the serving size. I ate half of it and finished the leftovers the next day 2b) Main Entree’s starch-Not Good-Vegetable (“Not-so” [meaning air fried]) Fried Rice $1.50 *Better off sticking with white rice and not paying extra for this* 3) Dessert-Not Good-Strawberry M?CHI $4.95 I can’t recommend getting this here. Had better and fresher Mochi from Hawaii and California. 4) Drink-Good-Just Ice Tea Prach Oolong Tea (16 oz) $3.25 *They do offer a military discount * Total with tax and discount $33.39 I dropped the rating down a star as the Not-so fried rice was not what I was expecting; I definitely am more fond of the traditional fried rice. Also, the Mochi was so-so.

So we're a family of 4 dining this night. Wanted to try the restaurant, it was new in the area and have heard good things about it. We ordered various dishes and it was explained that their style of Chinese food is healthier than most because they air fry rather than cook in oil. The restaurant is a fast food style restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere but no fountain drinks available here... I was turned off about that knowing it's probably going to cost $5 for 2 cans of soda for just one person. The food was good, portions were just adequate but the prices here were through the roof for fast food... $75 for just the food for 4 people without beverages! The food was good, not as tasty as traditional Chinese food but that's the trade off for healthier cooking. So we tried it, it was good but it's doubtful we'll return... The value for the money is just of whack here... Most new restaurants opening in the area are going sky high with the prices... Example, a burger without fries for $20. Too bad here because the restaurant has a lot of good but there are many better choices for a $100 bill.

7/28/2023 Wow! This place is awesome. The ratings on this place are legit. Clean, friendly, and best of all, TASTY. Oh and fast too. Don’t think mall food court Chinese, think, the best version of Chinese food you’ve ever had. Though not “authentic”, it is just really good. I’m sad that I’ve only been there twice so far as I have to try more of their menu. Unfortunately, I live 1.5 hours away and am only out by one of their locations once per week. I’ve had the Cold Sesame Noodle Salad, Roast Pork Egg Roll (with duck sauce), the wonton soup, and the chicken Bang Bang Rice. I’ve ordered the Cold Sesame Noodle Salad both times I’ve gone because it is that good. The wonton soup might be the best I’ve had, ever. The egg roll was good - better than most. My daughter, who I hate taking to restaurants because she’s so picky, stuffed herself on the Bang Bang Rice with chicken. To me, the Bang Bang Rice was good, but that is the item I will definitely substitute for something else next time. The food tastes almost healthy as it is not over greasy.

Update 8/4/23: The BBQ Spare Ribs are incredible! Maybe I’m just a purist on this. The Fried Rice side and Hot and Sour Soup, are above average good - nothing to rave about, but good if that’s what you like. The Steak King Egg Roll was okay. I can see why people like it but not my cup of tea. The steamed Szechwan Chili Dumplings were a disappointment to me. They weren’t bad, but almost any Chinatown (NYC) spot is better IMO. My daughter LOVED them though. This place is still 4.5 stars to me because it is still way above average Americanized (“Modern”) Chinese food. I’m certainly not done trying new...
