If I could give a zero I would this service with getting a refund from a Uber eats delivery was absolutely ridiculous and I still have to get my refund or a call from management from this Saint James McDonald’s location.
Some background on what had occurred:
On May 28, 2025 I placed a Uber eats delivery through the McDonald’s app to be delivered to my apartment. The time for the Uber eats delivery person to drop off. My food was over an hour due to another customer who had entered in their order incorrectly, then caused the Uber eats delivery driver. You have to go back-and-forth to complete the order for this customer. I had advised this to Uber eats and complained that this should not have been the delivery drivers Responsibility for the other customer that had put in their order incorrectly, so then have to delete other customers from getting their delivery.
When I finally got my food, it was ice cold. The soda watered it down from the ice and starting to lose the carbonation from it sitting in a vehicle close to summertime. I reached out to Uber eats delivery support right away and requested a refund In full, they submitted the request for the refund to McDonald’s directly and said if I don’t receive the refund in 7 to 10 business days that I needed to reach out to McDonald’s directly.
I then reached out to McDonald’s directly through the app with an email gave all the information attached all of the photos from the chat with the delivery driver and the chat with the Uber eats support person as well as the photo that the delivery person took when they delivered the food for the order number. From then it got even worse!
Email after email after email, representative after representative after representative all kept saying that I needed to reach out to Uber eats directly. And I had advised them each and every single time I already reached out to Uber eats and they told me to reach out to McDonald’s directly if I have not received the refund as they are the ones who have to complete the refund process!!
I then Reached out to Uber eats again for them to escalate this and resubmit the request for For the refund as well as having someone within management from the Saint James McDonald’s location to give me a call! To date, I have yet to receive a call from management!!!
I also advised each and every time I spoke with a McDonald’s representative and even to McDonald’s support at corporate on the phone that I refuse to be a customer of McDonald’s moving forward that this experience and lack of support, assist, and service for my refund is absolutely ridiculous, very frustrating, And has driven me away from this company and their service!
Up until now, I have not had any issues when There was a complaint with the service whether it was a delivery or not McDonald’s has always been sure to satisfy and make things right! They have not delivered on this occasion, and I refuse to let them do this to me again!!

The floor felt like they mopped it with frying oil. EVERYONE was slipping and sliding like an ice rink. I was told it’s moisture build-up because the AC doesn’t work. It sure didn’t. No paper or mats on the floor to prevent someone from getting seriously injured. 1 yellow wet floor sign by the side entrance. While we waited to order, several people were off to the side waiting for corrections to their order. We ordered our food a glided to the table. Food was brought only to have one of the sandwiches wrong and coffee prepared incorrectly. I think everyone there literally had something wrong with their orders. Now, to the bathroom…..There was 2. The one on the left was DEPLORABLE. The toilet seat had feces, YES, FECES all over it,, no hand soap either. How are the worker’s here washing their hands to deal with food? Brought it up to the “Manager” and the response was “ You see how busy we are right?” We literally left the $20 order in the table and walked out so irate I, I couldn’t be bothered with a refund. I asked if she was talking to me and she repeated that she can’t get the code to work so I assumed she was talking to someone else. After a few mins of silence I said Hello! And a man came on the mic and said it seems we are having an issue with your code. I said I didn’t give a code and he apologized. The girl came back on and asked what code I am using. Now I’m frustrated and said I do not have a code can I just order already! She takes my order.
