Nino's Delicatessen — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

So many things wrong.. I first called to place an order, and the staff who answered seemed impatient. He hung up before giving me a total, or an estimated time of when my order would be ready. I think that's a basic thing to expect for a pick-up order. I had to call back and ask how long it would take. Then when I got there, my total was A LOT higher than what their online prices were. Not only that, but the cook went on to tell me that they don't make omelette's on a roll and that my order was a special order, so he charged me extra for the roll. Bruh.. You could've said that over the phone too, had you not hung up on me. And how is that a special order? Their online menu is COMPLETELY INACCURATE as it CLEARLY states that you can order your omelette on a roll or a la carte, and the prices are definitely not what you end up paying. When I explained that to them at the register, that my total should be half of what they were charging me, according to their website, he simply said that he's not responsible for it and that it's his boss's problem. So professional. I had ordered two sandwiches, and ended up only taking one, and he still charged me extra for the roll. To top it off, I grabbed my complimentary orange juice that comes with the breakfast order only to realize later on that their juice is freakin EXPIRED!! and it has been for over a month!! Although I have lived in Smithtown a very long time, I never made it here before today, but I will definitely be returning! I called in an order of several sandwiches, all with specific requests, and a mix of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. When I arrived, I found the place nice, clean, and welcoming. I was greeted by the staff, and my order was ready, as promised. I picked up several additional items in the deli and chatted a little while paying. The team working was as nice as could be, and even carried my bag to my car. The prices were comparable to other places now due to inflation. For the people who wrote reviews complaining about price, I don't know if you have been to a grocery store lately, and see the prices, but they are outrageous. If a pound of boars head turkey is $17/lb, when you factor the cost of deli meats into your sandwich, the cost of bread and produce, the prices are fair and expected. The service was excellent. Stopped in on a whim today. Ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches. The gentleman that took our order was very nice and made them deliciously! My rating of 2 stars goes to the ball- of -sunshine -of- a -woman working there. She clearly is permanently unhappy and is willing to let everyone know through her poor customer service. The man began to ring up our order and she stepped in and began using the register which I thought was to ring us up. She says, "That'll be 14.07." I think to myself, wow great deal and take out a 20 and tell her that I have the 7 cents. She say, "No i was talking to someone else, you WISH yours was $14." Somewhat taken aback by this lack of tact, I say nothing and wait for my total to be given to me. After I pay, the man and woman openly discussed the mix up and she said to him that they didn't do anything to cause the mix up and that "They mess it up themselves." .... as in the customers. This woman should not have contact with the customers and should stay in the back out of sight with her...
