Malarkey's on the Bay — Restaurant in Town of Sodus

The food was pretty good, the servers were fantastic, but the owner of the building was HORRIBLE! If you go to this restaurant, please beware the table on the platform towards the back! There is not enough space for the chairs to be pulled out enough to have space from the table without being a safety concern. One of the people in our group took a seat at the table, barely moved the chair from where it was already pulled out, and when they sat the chair went over the edge and they fell and hit their head. The servers and the manager was great, getting ice and making sure they were okay, but when the owner of the building came out, he accused the person who fell of ‘not remembering they went up on the platform’ and said that only 3 people have ever fallen from that platform. Malarkey’s has been a great addition to the beautiful Sodus Point and to Abe’s Waterfront. You can tell the owner takes pride in what he delivers.
