Chinatown Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Thompson

Saw the amazing reviews so decided to give Chinatown Kitchen a try. The customer service over the phone was wonderful and the man was very friendly. Inside picking up our order, the lady was very kind and thanked us for our business. That is where it ends as far as 5 stars. We spent 41 dollars and would like a refund because the food was not good. The chicken fried rice was "ok" but very bland, that and the white rice was the only edible food. The sesame chicken was overly sweet with sesame seeds just sprinkled on top. The wonton soup made us both gag. The broth tasted musty and off. We then proceeded to take out a wonton and taste it independently from the soup broth. Big mistake.😔 Whatever meat is inside of the wonton us awful and made us both nauseated. I came here Christmas Day, as it was one of the very few places open. The line formed outside was long, since they remodeled it to only have one customer go inside to order at a time.

I ordered lo mein, shrimp & broccoli, chicken & broccoli and two shrimp rolls. The shrimp rolls were good. The shrimp was better than the chicken, but it was decent. The chicken was alright, just not really as firm as I liked and the flavoring was alright. I mean, it got the job done but for the most part I wouldn't have called it "amazing". It was decent. The customer service was great though.

Great service and good food, however it's very hard to find parking on the street that is close to the restaurant it's a hit or miss. The prices are fair considering that the price on everything has gone up excessively fast since covid hit in 2019. The 2 things that i feel could make this restaurant better is 1 I would love for them to start offering delivery, and 2 if they could come up with some kind of family deal it's quite expensive to feed a family of 5 or more when the average price on a meal is around $11, so having some kind of meal deal I fell alot of people in our community that have been customers of Chinatown kitchen for 30 plus years and the new customers all would be...
