Honey Bear Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Town of Tonawanda

Came here close to closing on a Saturday evening. It's a pretty cute little spot near the university. Whenever I am trying out a new bubble tea spot, I always go for my classic taro bubble tea. It doesn't seem like they have any size options and all their drinks are standard size.

I liked the fact that when I ordered my taro milky bubble tea you have the option of choosing either a white, green, oolong, or black tea based. Most bubble tea places I know just usually mix in black tea. I also liked the fact that they don't charge you extra for the boba.

Overall, the taro milky tea was great, just your classic powdery purple taro flavour. Their boba tasted a bit old, but I am not too picky since I figured it was the end of the night. Their boba is a bit sweet so they probably cook it with some sort of sugar/honey. For $4.75 for a standard drink is pretty solid in my books.

They have lots of flavours to choose from and different type of bubble tea, ranging from slushies...

If you have never had the delightful experience of trying bubble tea, THIS is the place to go. Delicious food, AMAZING tea and a very friendly atmosphere. I had NEVER tried bubble tea and WOW.....it's delicious!!! The food at this establishment is unique and a DEF "must try". When in the area or out for a drive, stop by and partake in some mouth watering, party in your mouth deliciousness! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!! Also.......I would like to point out, prior to writing this review, I noticed a couple 1 star reviews but, would like to say, do NOT take them seriously. In my opinion and also of those who accompanied me to this fabulous business, they are TOTALLY wrong and appears they MUST work for a competitor!! Everyone was kind and polite in there, but my whole night was ruined because I was expecting a quick bite but it turned out I didn't get anything for about an hour and I'm not exaggerating. I'm sure they are better about it usually but if they knew things were gonna take a while I would of appreciated a heads up or something, because i had plans but I had already paid for the food. I've never had the urge to give a review before but I'm here laying at home thinking about how outrageous my experience was. It's a cool place but really needs a new method of service.
