I noticed that no one responds to customer reviews of this D.donuts. it means a lot, but I will leave my opinion anyway.
This afternoon, it was around 12, 12:17 or so, I went to this Dunkin' Donuts place in Ulster Ave to place an order like I always do since I started drinking coffee from Ddonuts. (Recently started eating at DDunots) Usually, everyone is always kind, professional, and respectful to me. Today, Saturday, July 29, is my first Saturday ordering there, and the group who works there today made me feel bad and uncomfortable because they were making fun of me because of my English pronunciation.
The gentleman who took my order asked me to repeat what I said multiple time, pretending he hadn't listened, I did, while his friend standing next to him pretended that he was pouring milk or something silently laughing at me, I felt so embarrassed and uncomfortable. they keep repeating the word I supposedly mispronounced (whole milk). I was embarrassed until I remembered that English isn't my first language and the only language I know. I want to say to those who were laughing at me this afternoon that I am fluently speak 4 languages (how many languages do you understand or speak? I'm sure you only speak your maternal language and maybe you can't even write it well) and I want you to know that with that little bit of English you noticed, I graduated from university with honors here in Ulster county. Stop judging people based on their pronunciations, their languages, their looks, their skin's color, or disabilities. Your attitude this morning proves that you have already failed, It's so sad that you haven't even start in life yet but have already failed, I feel bad for you, I feel bad for your next victim (people like me who's English is not their main language) and let me remind you, all of you from today's shift, you are serving all type of customers with different backgrounds. instead of making fun of someone whose pronunciation is not perfect or who doesn't speak English at all, do yourself a favor LEARN ANOTHER LANGUAGE OR TWO OR THREE this way, you will have a better understanding of society,(maybe) cultures, and races. EDUCATE YOURSEL. I'm sure when you do, you'll be proud of yourself and confident enough to not tryingto embarrass someone from different...
Read moreHey everyone! So I stop at this Dunkin' Donuts pretty much every single morning. For the most part almost all the staff is friendly and understanding and they do listen. There are times when I do get hitter misses with my coffee. You know where they accidentally let the pot sit there too long and the coffee's cold and I have to give it back to them and have to make it all over again. But for the most part I'm more than happy to sit and wait extra for a fresh hot pot of coffee. Every morning I stop at my local Dunkin' Donuts because it's literally about 2 minutes from where I live. I mean yes I can drive down the road to the other Dunkin' Donuts which I might actually start doing. Just because the service on the drive through is a little more consistent. The way the drive through staff talkss the customers that help to pay their paycheck is rude condescending and disrespectful. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and I've never yet spoke to a guest or customer in that manner. Heck I could get better service if I went to McDonald's at least they know how can I help you instead of what can I do for you. According to the young girl that I spoke with this morning she said that the store has absolutely no standards on how they're employees speak to guests on the drive-thru. Saying what can I do for you. The way it's said in the way it's spoken is totally disrespectful. It shows that you just don't care about the customers coming in. How hard is it for you to say how can I help you every other restaurant including every other Dunkin's knows how to say that on their drive thru except for your building The way this employee speaks to the gas on the Drive-thru is ridiculous. So hopefully something's getting fixed. But as of this morning this is the last time I am going to this Dunkin' Donuts until they fix their standards. Remember all have fun what you're doing and keep it real because you know I do with each and every review. If you want great customer service go to a different Dunkin' Donuts because this Dunkin' Donuts does not have The actual customer service aspects going for them.
Yours...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE IF LATE AFTERNOON OR EVENING. You either get a simple order that is screwed up, have to wait for 15+ minutes to tell the staff twice they forget to give you items you ordered or you'll have to witness the "younger" staff not have good work ethics; not cleaning up any messes around the shop, listen to them complain about other co-workers while using improper launguage with customers waiting and take their time opening gifts from their boyfriend. Too if they screw up your order; an iced latte with caramel they give you a cup with just milk. When you say something about there being no form of coffee at all in it because it's too light you are told by staff it's so light (like milk) because you wanted caramel. Um hello, 1) caramel is a brown color not white, 2) caramel latte doesn't taste like vanilla milk and 3) when they go to make the correction it ends up in the garbage on the way out because again they forgot the coffee and caramel and this time they only put in frothy milk and ice and give it to the customer with an attitude because you can't and don't know your needed job skills. Rather drive across town to any other D&D before wasting money at...
