1/20/18 Horrible experience at Victor, NY McD. Ordered via Mobile ordering thru the app. No signage showing where to pick up order inside. Checked in when I parked in parking lot.
Waited app 5 min before getting order. They served me fries that had been sitting in a box under the light since I walked into the door. Had to ask for fresh ones.
Drink station disgustingly dirty with no ketchup. Just nasty looking. Told young lady at register when I asked for ketchup about drink station was told "we've been really busy" and made no effect to send an employee out to clean it until much later.
Bacon double cheeseburger served with one1/2 piece of bacon instead of two 1/2 pieces. 2 Double hamburgers no onion Xtra pickle came with 2 pickle slices. One bun was completely burned on top.
The Young lady (Alyssa) with long black hair's attitude was horrible. Complete with eye rolling when telling her issues with order and restaurant.
Short male manager was doing best he could with crew on hand.
Ladies restroom smelled like a sewer. Non handicap stall was out of order and the stench was horrible. The stale smell indicates the toilet was out of order for days.
Ice cream machine is broken so no shakes or ice cream available.
2/24/18 Sat night with only 3 people working. Dining room was a diaster. Drink area nasty with overflowing garbage. Empty napkins and ketchup. DR tables and floors messy with garbage on table tops and floors.
Drive Thru worker came out complaining that "garbage isn't overflowing just not pushed down" while not restocking empty items. About 15 min later the worker finally cleaned up the DR...
Read moreI ordered a breakfast sandwich and a hash brown on the way out to Victor (where I work). When I got out there, the gentleman working the drive through told me he wasn't able to locate my order and the system told him it has been moved to a different store for whatever reason. I was assured that it would be taken care of at the 1st window. When I got there, the older woman working at the window was trying to tell me I had to pay again. I showed her the app on my phone, showing that I paid and she literally slammed the window in my face, called for a manager and started SCREECHING audibly from the back of the restaurant. The manager came to the window and apologized for his barbaric employee, and I didn't have to pay again. Meanwhile I could still hear this lady screaming and crying and having an absolute meltdown not 10 feet from the window. It was so unprofessional and embarrassing that I'm not eager to go back there soon. I have eaten there multiple times for lunch and breakfast and the staff is always courteous and helpful. That woman needs to go through some serious emotional help or seek a different job. Her reaction was completely unnecessary and uncalled for and she should be embarrassed to show her face in public. Especially because she is a grown adult woman. McDonald's needs...
Read moreI stopped by this McDonald’s recently, and while everything was pretty much what you’d expect in terms of food and service, something caught my eye that left me a bit concerned. As I was leaving, I noticed one of the employees vaping just outside the entrance.
Now, I’m not one to judge, but it made me wonder if everything was okay with this young man. Seeing someone in their work uniform, vaping right by the door, gave me the impression that he might be dealing with something stressful. I know life can get tough, and maybe this was just a moment where he needed a break, but it also made me think that maybe the job or something outside of it is weighing on him.
I hope management is keeping an eye on their team’s well-being because when you see something like that, it’s hard not to worry a bit. I’m sure he’s doing his best, but maybe a little extra support or guidance could go a long way.
Overall, my visit was fine, but I left hoping that whatever’s going on with this employee, he’s getting the help or support...
