TLDR; $14 kale brussels salad is literally a bag of raw salad kit you can find at a grocery store minus the salad dressing. Mine came with straight up raw veggies with no salad dressing. Their initial response was that the salad comes with raw brussels sprouts and that I can come back to pick up the dressing if I want. I'd only recommend this place to those who don't mind spending $14 plus tax for straight up raw veggies combined together in a well packaged plastic lunch box. Also, keep in mind you have to pay extra for any protein option. I try not to leave any negative reviews as they may have impact on small businesses. At the same time, I also don't want these businesses to think it is ok to serve customer poor quality of food. As much as I don't want to waste my energy writing a negative review which might be seen as a complaint, I'd gladly take my time if my review can prevent at least one person from getting such disappointing experience, What happened: As what I would usually do before visiting new restaurants, I checked online first to see if they had decent reviews and decided to give a shot for quick late lunch while I'm visiting Middletown over the weekend. I placed an order for pick up with two different menus, one specifically for kale brussels salad around 2pm on May 5th. Since it was past the typical lunch time (12-1/2pm), the place was fairly empty when I went in to pick up the food. When I came back to a hotel and checked the food, I was very shocked to find $14 salad meant raw veggies, no salad dressing nor utensils. I wanted to give them benefits of doubt and still gave them a call to see if this was intended or a mistake. During a 2:27pm phone conversation, I learned that a chef during the shift of my order initially claimed everything comes raw in that salad when their menu online clearly says it should come with roasted brussels sprouts. Later, they admitted it should've been cooked and that a manager would give me a call back as soon as she's out of a meeting. I waited. Still no call after 2 hours of waiting. At 4:16pm, I gave them another call and was able to speak to a manager. She apologied for an incident and said they would be working on a proper training. She also promised that they would provide a refund back for the salad I purchased. I appreciated how she handled it very professionally at that moment and waited for the refund. It's been 10 days. No refund has been posted to my credit card statement and they are not picking up my phone for some reason.

For years my daughter with Celiac has called this her favorite restaurant. The food and service have always been on point. Which makes our most recent visit even more disappointing. We started with fried calamari and fried pickles which both came out cold. The calamari was also undercooked I know the rule of thumb for calamari is better under than over, but this was extreme. They remade the appetizers and the server waited for them to come out of the fryer this time so they were served hot on the outside but again, some of the calamari was undercooked. French fries all came out cold. My steak was cold on the outside. I don't mind cold on the inside, but the outside should at least be warm. I had two bloody Marys that I asked for well vodka since I can't taste the difference in a Bloody Mary when the bill came, it indicated that I had two Tito's Bloody Marys. When I pointed this out to the server she said there was nothing she could do once the alcohol was in they couldn't make changes. I asked to speak to the manager who told me yes they can make changes. She also apologized profusely and said they're having difficulty getting good people and they're trying to train new staff. But she also indicated that Jimmy, the manager of the Albany location. My favorite 110 Grill location has been helping them get back on track that they've had issues for over a year. According to the manager, they had a new trainee on the friars which explains how my daughter got gluten contaminated. Obviously the trainee put some gluten in the Gluten-Free fryer. My daughter was sick for 2 days after and we will not return to this location! By the way, my half Caesar salad came with more shaved Parmesan than lettuce, which I'm sure cut into the profit margin. The manager did try to make it right with the bill but no amount of compensation could make up for how ill it made my daughter.

The restaurant looks great, and the ambience of the place is nice. My girlfriend and I have the following meals: Fried Calamari, Fish n' Chips, Steak Salad, and Oreo Sundae. I enjoyed the Calamari, for it was tender and taste good with the hot and sweet sauce that comes with it. It wasn't to hard to bite, and I'm glad that they serve the tentacles too. Furthermore, the batter was just right and not over breaded and seasoned well, so it's good As for the Entrees, Fish n' Chips and Steak Salad, this is where a star was taken from the review. Starting with the Fish n' Chips, the fish was cook perfectly and was breaded right, but it was unseasoned, it will be nice with a touch of salt there, for it's the star of the dish. In contrast to the fish's taste, the fries were overly salty. Overall, I wasn't satisfied with it, and this was where the star was taken off. As for the steak salad, this might because of preference, but the salad was served with a huge slices of fresh onion rings. I would just suggest to cut it down to smaller pieces. Lastly, the Ice cream Sunday was our desert, and this is where 110 Grill redeems itself. The Oreo Sundae has a vanilla ice cream surrounded with Oreo cookies and a bit of chocolate fudge. The vanilla ice cream and the chocolate fudge was not too sweet, and the Oreo cookies provided a nice taste of chocolate and crunch. Overall, this is a dish that my girlfriend and I really enjoyed. My thoughts about 110 grill is that it's a great place to dine in. Just a minor tweak on their seasoning will go so far. The best thing that they did was pay attention to customer's allergies, for my girlfriend is allergic to shellfish. They did really well with that. Thank you 110 grill :)

They menu was short and sweet to the poimt. They have 2 menus the regular and the gluten free. I order the Chimichurri Steak with garlic mash potatoes (it come with fries but i didn't want it. So i substitute it) when the food came ot was not i was expecting ( the plating was good..pretty) the food was good..the steak was cook the way i told the waitress.

The reason i gave it 2⭐ i wanted to give it 2 1/2⭐ but they is no half star rating and gaving a 3⭐ was too much i feel. When i walk to the door to the hostess saying table for 1. She ask do i want the menu (i said yes cause it my first time here) At first i didn't think nothing of it. I thought maybe they have alot of customers that don't want the menu cause they already know what they want. Then the hostess brought me to my table and gave me 2 menu gluten free & regular menu.

I wish i should a time it how long i waited for waitres/waiter to come to my table. At first i thought they was give time to look at the menu. With no waiter/waitress on i started reading a novel online. After a while still nothing i was about to leave 😡then a waitress i told her i wanted a lemonade and the Chimichurri Steak. Now my drink came but it took a while for my food to come out ( i had no problem with that. I want my food to cook right. Which it was😍)

Im done with my drink and wanted to ask a waitress for more but again they were nowhere in sight when i needed one.Now i been eating for while ( i already read a couple chapter on my novel) i finally saw this waitress that was taking a customer order 2 table down that just seat down. I called her over for the check for my table ( she was very sweet to me) she ask if i wanted dessert but decline ( i my head i was like hell no im down waiting here) after a little while a waitress came with the check came and she ask if i wanted another drink "i said no" (when i needed that refill you guys where mowhere in sight..while i was looking at the check making sure everything was good but i was also looking at my surrounding for a waitress ( i saw nobody beside the hostess at the front door)😑 okay i put a $2 tips with my card (to be honest i wasn't going to leave any tip but that waitress i ask for the check was very sweet to me so the tips was for her) Not even a min went by a waitress(the bartender) out of nowhere came and pick up the check book😔.

1)I wasn't in a isolated area.. I was by the bar.. You could see me

2)They were 3 other customers near me a couple table down (a couple at one table..one at the bar and that old man at one table) i watched how they waitress were beside the couple that was already eating by the time i seat. The other 2 while they were trying seating the waitress already ask them what they wanted to drink😑 and on all 3 of them they waitress came a couple times asking while they were waiting for they food and while eating if they wanted another drink..if everything okay or they want something else😠😡 (i had none of that)

3)remember when the hostess ask if i wanted the menu. The hostess didn't ask nobody else that ..that walk in the door after me. Where i was seating was only 2 table down from the front door where the hostess was.

  1. i didnt want to make scene asking for a manager or somebody cause after a while i just wanted to get out of there.

So would i go back there "hell no"😡😠. But the food was good and the way the other customers near look while eating theirs was good too💞. They are some good waitress there but for some reason all the one i had were all broken (except that little...

My wife and I went to 110 Grill recently. We were seated quickly and the restaurant was not busy. It is attached to the mall. Nice atmosphere for a mall restaurant. We waited 5 to 10 minutes for drinks because the bartender staff was responsible for our hightop table service. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and dinner all at the same time. Crab rangoon dip and chili shrimp for apps and a burger and wings for dinner. The chili shrimp took about 10 minutes to come out and the rangoon dip another 10 after that. This is where I started to grow irritated because the apps should come out at the same time and not take 20 minutes to be completed. The bartender mentioned that the chef was new and why the service was slow. This is when we should have left, but gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. My drinks were empty for some time before receiving refills, probably about 10-15 minutes empty. The burger and wings finally came out after about 25-30 minutes beyond the apps, again very slow. The burger did not come with tomato and lettuce as it was supposed to. Overall the food was mediocre. Rangoon dip was a joke (absolutely terrible), chili shrimp were pretty good, burger was not worth anywhere near $19 as it was small and did not come with the assortment it was supposed to (tomato and lettuce), and I cannot comment on my wife's wings, although I do recall her wondering about the sauce flavor. I did not receive ketchup with my burger and fries, even after asking the hostess for some. Finally the bartender came by and I received the ketchup for my fries after finishing the burger - greattt. My beverage glasses were empty again towards the tail end of dinner for about 10 minutes. I complained outwardly and I think the bartender overheard me because she came by and I said to not worry about it because I was done eating at that point. Asked for the check and then waited again. My wife went up to the bar and asked for it and it was received. Granted, 20% off was given because of the complaints to the bartender, but for the level of service (or lack thereof) and wait times for mediocre food, this was the first time in my life I understood why someone may dine and dash. I paid a 15% tip (very generous given the poor service) and the bill came out to $84 total when I would have rather eaten at a McDonald's. Really? It's a shame to pay good money to eat out when the food and service is not good at all. I could have cooked significantly better food at my house for half the price and had it done in half the time. My wife and I were expecting much better for a 4.2 star rating, but left completely irritated and dissatisfied. I will never be back to 110 Grill and would never recommend to anyone. This is coming from someone who worked in the service industry for years in high school and college. No excuse. Do better. This was a top 5 worst dining experience for...

I had to adjust this review AGAIN Every time we come here it takes so long! Our waiters and waitress have always been very kind but I don’t think we will be returning. We went and we just ordered entrees. After waiting over an hour they finally show up and mine is cold and not cooked correctly. We told the waitress and she said “surprising ” like it happened often. So I had to send it back and wait longer. After all that we got the receipt and nothing was adjusted the waitress was even confused. She told the manager and she took my food off the bill and came over and apologized. We once waited a shorter time at chilies and they took care of the whole bill because they felt bad for the wait apparently it’s standard at 110 grill.

I wish I could add two reviews, we’ve been here three times now and two out of those th ree times were amazing. The third was pretty bad though. The first two times we had Vinny as a waiter and he was amazing, I have allergies so for it to be taken care of like that was really great. The food is delicious! I’ve had the steak and cheese which is probably the best philly cheese steak I’ve had, the ribeye which was delicious and was nicely seasoned and the steak tips which had an amazing glaze on top.

The third time we went for a birthday there were 4 of us and we had Sammi as a waitress. It was awful. She came over and took our drink order and came right back with all the non alcoholic drinks and said they would be done shortly no problem. Then she takes our orders I tell her my allergy and she said okay she said she was going to put it in and bring bread. She came back out still without the alcoholic drink and brings us 3 pieces of bread. She tells us “the bar made it wrong it will be right out” okay no problem. She brings it over and asks if we want more bread we said yes please. We never saw that bread. Our drinks went empty for a while she would walk by 4 times telling us she was going to “go get them now” and never get them, eventually she had someone else get us drinks. Our meals went to a few tables before they even reached ours but 3 out of 4 of our meals were great however mine wasn’t marked allergy, and usually the manager runs it out but they didn’t. My mother’s ribeye was 3/4 fat. She wasn’t able to each much. When Sammi reappeared she asked how dinner was and if we needed boxes, we said great except for the ribeye and she ignored us so we said it again and she said “oh I’m sorry” and left the table. She never brought the check so we just left cards on the table she then brought them back with no pens to sign receipts. She wasn’t the quality waitress you’d expect for the quality of food and the price.

However because the other waiters and waitresses seem to be good and Vinny is great and the food is good I did give them 5 stars, but my mother and sister already said they would...
