Smoothie King — Restaurant in Town of Wallkill

Went to the smoothie King on 211 recently it was the first time going actually inside. I usually just go through the drive-through. I will tell you going forward. I will never order from here again for starters. Let me saying the staff are hard-working and very friendly and engaging, but they just appear overwhelmed. The reason why I say I won’t go here when you’re in your car, you can’t see what’s inside on this day. I chose to go inside to order and it was a disaster the work stations were the food was being prepped was disgusting and filthy the blenders that they were preparing the food in were all stained and there was full on cross contamination happening if you had a food allergy, you don’t know if you were getting peanuts or anything else in your mix. I’ve been to a couple of smoothie Kings like the one near Fishkill, which is always clean. Staff are friendly. This one the staff was friendly, but the location was dirty and the food areas were horrible. This is a health department inspection waiting to happen. They need to do better if I was the owner, I would instruct the staff when it’s that bad to shut down for just an hour and clean up The workstation ,it’s better to lose an hour of revenue ,then the health department come in and shut you guys down. I originally gave them a three but that was too generous. Maybe I would give them a 2.5 at best.

The smoothie was ok at best. It seemed kind of cheap and artificial. It's definitely overpriced for what they give you. The prices are higher than what you would usually pay for a high quality smoothie and this quality was just a step or two above a gas station icy.

The service was not good at all. It didn't seem busy but I still had to wait a long time to order, even though there were no customers on line waiting to order in front of me. The kid taking the order seemed to be high or something. He definitely wasn't professional at all. The other guy who gave me my smoothie was a little more professional at least.

The first time I tried Smoothie King was a few years ago at a different location and I wasn't impressed. Today was the second time I tried it, although the first time at this location, and I was even less impressed than I had been a few years ago at the other location.

I will probably try it again at some point, but probably not any time soon. They seem to need some new management who will train the...

Wish I could give zero star, but have to leave one to write a review. Not sure where to start. This place is so bad, I ordered a smoothie it was so watered down couldn’t taste the fruit. Doubt they even added my vitamins. So thin runny not thick at all had to dump it waste of $13.00! Then got a refresher next day all ice no strawberry 🍓 in it! What a disappointment! The girls working are not friendly at all! They look depressed! Will not ever return.I was nice I said how are you today? They don’t respond huh 🤔 they can’t carry a conversation they made me feel like I was a bad person for asking how are you today? They just shrugged their shoulders! Very bad customer service so bad! Also the same dead bug has been in girls bathroom all week. Then on Friday I ordered two medium smoothies paid for medium then the girls go oh you could have order a small and got medium? As Friday it’s a free upgrade. I asked why you not say that before I paid she shrugged her shoulders. Need a whole new staff at this place that actually cares.
