I’m not very happy with BJ’s right now. I went in on a quick break from work to mainly purchase items that were on sale with a coupon. By the time I was ready to check out, there was a long line and only the one cashier assisted line. There were several self checkouts open, so I decided to do that to save time. What a mistake. The machine must’ve been faulty and I had to have a customer service rep come and assist me with coupons on three separate items. Then the machine kept telling me to continue to “put the items in the tray” even after I did. When I got to the exit where the man at the door checks the number of items against the number it says on your receipt, they did not match. He must’ve counted them three times and I made sure he saw them all. Well, they didn’t match so I was sent back to the Customer Service desk where I was met by the same customer service rep who helped me with the coupons. Unlike the man at the door, he was very apologetic because he himself had helped me check out. That’s when he admitted there was something wrong with the machine. So now I am back at the exit and this man grabs my receipts out of my hand, and I asked him what he’s doing as by now I am going to be late for work. He was going to take a picture of them and I insisted that Julian, the Customer Service rep at the self check out, put his mark on the receipt and helped me himself. Apparently that wasn’t good enough for this gentleman and I got a bit upset with him. I’ve never in all my years had anything like this happen before, but I will be honest with you and say that I will rethink renewing my membership with BJ’s. I have a Costco membership and there are always plenty of people working with many cashiers and self checkouts that this would never...
Read moreDear BJ's I find today when I went to your store that I was very disappointed to say the least I bought a membership.I had planned on buying 4 tires for my car. I went to the tire area, I stood there waiting 10 min,but still a nice salesman came. Then it all went downhill from there I needed four all-weather tires for my car.I asked to see the prices the gentleman showed me the prices of some that were 79.99 each and some that were a 119.99 each first the ones that were 79 99 we're out of stock I would have had to wait 3 to 5 days so fine I would take the upsell of 119.99 , knowing I needed the tires immediately I would have taken them just for him to tell me that they don't even carry those they have 1 in stock, I would still have to wait 3 to 5 days now being in the market of selling tires,You would think that you would have at least four of the same tires for sale. I am not sure who does your ordering inventory and I understand that sometimes people come in and just buy one tire. While I was there I also noticed that all three of your bays were empty, and no cars were getting work done so just as a suggestion in the future maybe if you carried the tires people would come in and buy them I would have given you no stars but that's not possible. Thank you...
Read moreDelivery driver bringing them a load of product in to the back. This place is an excellent wonderful place for truck drivers to bring load to. Although....the receiving office does close early at 12 noon and...I arrived at 1pm eastern, at first they turned me away( not enough space to storage) until later on 8 or 9 hours. But then they changed mind and called my supervisor and said yes, we will take the product right now today. So that was very nice. The staff was very nice and helpful to a truck driver( which not a lot of places are....that is very unusual for delivery offloading facility to give a crap or treat a driver fairly with compassion. But the kind wonderful folks at this place did....3 hours later at 4pm. Pretty fast unloading time compared to some other dock doors you can back a 53 ft trailer in to. Plenty of room to back and manuever and....and here is the best part/ the awesome cherry on top. Overnight parking in the back alley if you arrive the evening beforehand for the next morning for them to open up the receiving office...
